Hi!! Wanted to share how impactful this work is when you work it
Hi All!!! I have been a little quiet on here as I’ve been heavily involved in my community sharing physiology first principles to schools and individual young people. I am beyond excited to take this to the next level but wanted to share something that happened this morning and another that is coming up this afternoon. I was with 50 preschoolers today for a session and one little 5 year old girl that I worked with this past year came up to me and said, I was on the trampoline yesterday and when I stopped I put my hand on my heart to feel the beats. My mom didn’t tell me to do it but I told her I was checking in with myself. Wow!! She was so proud of herself. Secondly, I have been running weekly breath and movement sessions in my community and it’s based on drop ins. I had one boy start coming consistently the past 3 weeks and this week he rallied up 9 other friends to come! I am so pumped to be with them. This mission is so rewarding when you do the work. I have been at this since 2021 and the impact is beyond words when young people (that’s who I primarily work with) take agency over their own health and draw connections to it that is meaningful to them. Thank you again, David for your mission! So excited to be on this journey with all of you. Ps if you are in or around New Jersey, let’s connect!!!

New Level One Certification E-Book Companion 📖
Team, The incredible efforts of @Leven Beeuwsaert to compile notes and the suggestion from @Filipe Cymbron to create a pdf of the course material has sent me down an inspiring rabbit hole into the world of Designerr, an ebook creation tool that we can leverage in several important ways. 1.) To create interactive pdf/live ebook presentations for our proposals to schools, organizations, and companies, complete with embedded videos and interactive materials. This will be a powerful way to present your offerings to the community! I’ll make a presentation ebook for each sector in the weeks to come. 2.) To build this preliminary version of a Certification Ebook companion into the most comprehensive, interactive course companion and field guide possible, together! This is my first attempt, and I plan to add more photos, videos, audio links, and anything that you suggest in the weeks to come. Hopefully this skeleton draft proves handy in compiling the information from the Level One Certification Program for the time being as we evolve it into a powerful tool to put the Physiology First Approach into practice! Looking forward to your thoughts on this early version and how it can be expanded and improved to best serve the team! ~ David https://designrr.s3.amazonaws.com/physiologyfirst1_at_gmail.com_376416/physiology-first-level-one-certification-program_6778533b.pdf

Deep Dives
Hi all is there recordings of recent deep dives? I can seem to only find latest one from May. Thanks.
Deep Dive @3pm EST: Vo2 max case study!
Team, Tonight’s Deep Dive will use @Lorraine Lyons ‘s Vo2 max and RMR tests from the seminar as a case study🫁💪 I’ll go through both reports and share how we would interpret the data for a client as well as help them plan their training accordingly. Hope to see you there! David https://us06web.zoom.us/j/89198624400

@David Bidler thanks David appreciate you having me. Happy to be home now. And that’s great you will come out to us. We’d love to have you. Thanks for the report run down and thanks Lorraine for offering your results! David, I got some results/report on the app but I don’t think it’s both or all of them. Certainly different to what cara and I were going through. Do you have access? Do I have access!? If so could you pls send. It doesn’t seem to allow me in the app to print as a PDF. Thanks in advance.
PFU Seminar 3 days away!
Team! So excited to see you in just a few days. Below you’ll find a short recap of the seminar logistics. Can’t wait to see you all in just 3 days! • First off, come prepared to have FUN and build community👊🏽❤️🔥 The weekend should be an awesome opportunity to bring some incredible people together to create a wave of change in healthcare and education. Our vibe at PFU is very relaxed and chill. We know people are traveling from quite a distance to attend, and we want you to feel at home and in the company of an awesome community. • We’ve decided to shift to a local restaurant close to campus for our Leadership Dinner on Friday evening. We remembered how difficult parking on Friday night in Portland can be and wanted to make sure everyone had a relaxing evening settling in before we head into a full, fun day of learning and training on Saturday! • Bring a bathing suit, towel, and trail running/hiking shoes if you like. If not, whatever you’re comfortable hitting the sauna, cold plunge, trails with on Saturday works! 🏔️🧊🪵🔥 • We may try to fit in a few Vo2 max tests on Saturday afternoon to make Sunday a bit smoother for testing. No fasting is required for the Vo2 max tests (only the RMR tests) so we’ll have to figure out the best timing for testing on an individual basis on Friday evening. We can guarantee that everyone who requested a Vo2 max test will get one. The RMR will be based on peoples comfort level fasting during the activities of the weekend, and hopefully we can both tests done for all. I’ll have a google sign up sheet uploaded tomorrow and we can plan accordingly. See you all soon and incredibly excited to host you this weekend! ~ David https://youtu.be/9y-LmZadn68?si=AOzVB1SIATqikWQS

Looks great David. I chickened out of hiring a car. Maybe it’s just being in LA but being on the wrong side of the road sent some chills up me. Is there/will there be buses back to Portland into the evening (after dinner). It seems the bus from Portland to freeport take about 30min (correct?). Prob just going to stay in a hostel there. Thanks!
