66 days straight training is not unusual for us but logging it is so that is a thing. Day 66 was a visit to meet the Christchurch based SAR dogs and have a play on their agility setup with some searches. Kizmet did well in the new environment and had fun running about

We focused on recall in the park with distractions around. I tried just letting a mixture of verbally recalling and then allowing Ivy to make the decision to come back on her own. It was hard to judge on the long line whether the pressure of the line was causing her to come back on her own or just herself.

We’ve been focusing on distraction training the past few days and on lead recall in the park. Distraction training varies on the day in quality. We’ve noticed that Ivy is naturally starting to walk in heel position whilst on the collar which is great progress!
