My commitment letter is so beautiful I could weep
Just wrote my Commitment Letter for Week 1. My Big Rock: learning to move through the freeze. My whole life, my body has told me that acting means danger β€” so I avoid, delay, stay small. But during my trial retirement I saw 205 bird species because I finally gave myself space to live. That woman already exists. WIN! Week One is Done! and My Why to share:
I'm here because I am done with believing the protective freeze is necessary in my adulthood. She is a guardian angel who needs retirement. I am content for her to stand in the wings in case of extreme circumstances , when she is welcome to step forth with her sword. I'm done with emails sitting unopened or unanswered for months because my body tells me it's unsafe to act, when it isn't. I'm done tolerating keeping quiet for a peaceful life when people are not treating me with respect. And I'm done filling my life with obligations that drain me instead of things that make me come alive. If I actually follow through this time, it means I stop living smaller than I am. It means I become the woman my trial retirement already showed me I could be: someone with space, autonomy, and the freedom to spend my days in nature, writing, creating, doing things that fill me with joy and connecting with people who actually see me. I'm ready to leave behind the "separate insecure character who needs protecting" to fully embody and BE "the all-seeing infinite awareness who watches all experience unfold".

We've built a powerful new assessments that will become the starting point for everyone doing the 5-Day Challenge going forward. What you'll be testing: 1. Your ADHD Snapshot (~25 min) 9 deep questions across three dimensions: Your ADHD Story, The Hidden Cost, and Why You're Here Now. At the end, our AI generates a personalized portrait of your ADHD experience. 2. The ADHD Awakening Assessment (~45 min) 15 questions that go even deeper across five dimensions: The Truth About Your Brain, Your Invisible Identity Cage, Rewriting Your Internal Code, The Harmony Reset, and Your Path Forward. This one maps out where you actually are right now: your patterns, your strengths, your limiting beliefs, and what your ideal life actually looks like. You'll get a full AI-generated psychological portrait that connects all the dots. This is the same assessment as the previous 5-Day Challenge, but potentially even richer since it uses the new ADHD snapshot assessment as extra context. @Mash Hammond my dentist recommended one that cost Β£800! I bought something on amazon for Β£14.99 (although it still in the box!) Lol
Rebound effect
Is anyone else feeling angry about their current state? Like a ricochet I’ve gone from euphoria to remorse now I’m just plain mad. All the time I have wasted, excuses I’ve lived with and all the less than great treatment I’ve tolerated because after all it’s just me and why do I deserve better? Seeing my value differently has opened a new can of warms. Is this normal level ke the stages of grieving? .

Hey - I feel you. <3 I too went through a grieving stage for the me that had suffered so much. so you are definitely not alone. It might sound trite (and I apologise if it does), please try to be kind to yourself, you were doing the best you could with the information available to you at the time. It's not your fault. Conditioning form family, school and society and now media have A LOT to answer for. Breathe through it. Do something you love to give yourself a big hug. Sending love.xx
