Why I Quit ActiveCampaign Overnight
Seriously… you're lighting money on fire. Close to $1,000/month for tools like ActiveCampaign. And for what? Sending + dashboards. Here's what I'm using instead: Listmonk - Free, open-source email tool - No subscriber limits - No sending limits Amazon SES - ~$0.10 per 1,000 emails - Better deliverability than most tools And the best part… I run the entire system through Claude. No dashboards. No clicking around. Just commands. You go from: "managing email campaigns" → "running a system" Most people are stacking tools …and paying hundreds (or thousands) every month. When you can run the same (or better) setup for almost nothing. If you want the full setup guide + Claude skill I use: Comment "Monk" below 👇

Cold Email Copy Is Broken (Here’s Why)
Cold email copy lives in a weird dilemma. You want: • opens • replies • booked calls But you also need to: • avoid spam • not sound salesy • not trip deliverability Most people overcomplicate this. After sending hundreds of thousands of cold emails, and helping 1,281+ people write cold email copy that actually gets replies, I simplified everything into a 3-step framework. Step 1: Bait the Open Before anyone reads your email… they decide whether to open it. That decision is driven by: • the subject line • the preview text (first sentence) Together, they must spark curiosity and stay relevant. They cannot sound promotional. The goal is simple: Make it feel like it could be from a colleague, client, or vendor. If it sounds like marketing → spam risk goes up. Step 2: Win the 3-Second Impression Once the email is opened, you have about 3 seconds. Your first 2–3 sentences should do three things: 1. Surface a real problem they recognize 2. Hint at a solution 3. Establish quiet credibility Not a pitch. Not a bio. Just enough context to make them think: “This might be relevant.” Miss this window, and the email is dead. Step 3: Get the “Yes” Cold email is not about closing. It’s about starting a conversation. The easiest way to do that? • Ask a clear, low-friction question • Make the reply effortless If they can respond with a simple “Yes”, you’ve done your job. Everything after that is sales. By the way, I’ve got something that makes this entire process much easier. Comment “Cold” and I’ll send it over.

The $1.50/mailbox cold email infrastructure I use to send 100K+ emails monthly
Hey everyone 👋 I've been meaning to share this with the community for a while now, and I figured it's time to stop gatekeeping this resource. Quick context: When I scaled our PR agency to $800K/month, one of the biggest operational costs was email infrastructure. At $8/mailbox on Google Workspace, running 300+ mailboxes was costing us $2,400/month just in mailbox fees. The alternative I found: There's a category of SMTP services with unmanaged IP addresses that cost $1-1.50 per mailbox/month. I'm currently running 375 active mailboxes across 75 domains through one of these services. What you get: • Unlimited scaling potential • 3-click setup process • Direct export into Instantly • Professional SMTP infrastructure • Full domain ownership and control The important caveat (please read): This is NOT for beginners. Here's why: With Google/Microsoft, they manage IP reputation for you. With these SMTP services, YOU are responsible for maintaining sender reputation. If you get spam complaints or hit spam traps, the entire IP range gets flagged and all your mailboxes go to spam. Who this is for: ✅ You already have a profitable cold email system with Google/Microsoft ✅ You consistently get low spam complaint rates ✅ You understand deliverability fundamentals ✅ You're ready to scale and reduce operational costs My current setup: I use this service alongside Google and Microsoft mailboxes to diversify infrastructure. When Google had those recent policy changes, my campaigns kept running because I wasn't 100% dependent on them. To get instant access to this: Comment "INBOX" below and I'll DM you the link 📦
