Hey HuRU Crew! I have a question. I really enjoy connecting and interacting with other people. I’ve been that way all my life. I’ve enjoyed this group so far because it seems like people do engage and interact. But I will admit that I’ve been in a couple groups where I bring that energy to the group, and there’s nothing going on no interaction just crickets, And because I’m expecting more, it’s a bit of an energy drain. I would love everyone suggestions of a couple groups I could join that really do promote community and interaction like this one does. It’s partly about networking for sure, but also maybe about being a solopreneur, working from home, and just enjoying a little interaction with other human beings!! (Hope this is ok to post!!)

My community Soft Soulful Survivor is a humble community with main goal to make connection with people who went through hardship, obstacles, loss and even bully, who know that they deserve better and destined for greatness. We provide safe space for people to share their stories. @Krista Melanson , I know that you're looking for a community that is fun, interactive, uplifting and at the moment, our community is small with less than 10 active members. But if you're looking for a creative, approachable leader who constantly learning and sharing inputs to her members, you should be a part of this community. Perhaps you can bring sunshine to our humble community. Anyhow, I admire your uplifting and friendly attitude. Looking forward to connect with you on a deeper level. 🌸

Shake Hands With My Glorious Old Self
Sometimes I miss the person I used to be. The energy, the spark, the freedom I once had. But then I remind myself: I am not losing her, I am transforming, into a more mature and purposeful her. The old me carried me through so much, and without her, I wouldn’t be standing here today. Now, I’m in a better place, wiser, stronger, and still growing. I'm choosing to honor her. I shake her hand with gratitude, and I keep walking forward with love for the person I’m becoming. I'm going to make her proud and not taking all her sacrifices for granted. She went through heart breaks just to become me. Everything I have today, are because of her. I am her and she is me.

@Krista Melanson That's still great.. Sometimes when we feel low, we tend to have those negative feelings, but as long as we know how to bounce back, we're still on the right path.. And most of the times, we are our own biggest hater....
What’s your guilty pleasure TV show or movie that you watch for pure JOY?
Fun doesn’t always have to be productive, polished, or Instagram-worthy. Sometimes it’s just letting yourself indulge in the silly, goofy things that make you laugh or relax. Confession: mine right now is the second season of Shrinking - oh and American Football (GO MN Vikings and UT .... Hook 'Em Horns!) I’d love to hear yours. Let’s skip the “what are you working on” convo for a second and share guilty pleasures. Maybe we’ll even get some new recommendations for our joy-lists.

I've been thinking, what if greediness is a good thing? Shocking enough? But let me explain where this silly thought came from. What if we able to do single thing and gain multiple benefits. This way of thinking can turn boring activity into fun and rewarding. Here are some of the activities that have multiple rewards. 1) Walking 🚶‍♀️ not merely for weight management, but also for cardiovascular health, mental clarity, and emotional balance. 2) Reading 📖 not simply to acquire knowledge, but also to ease the mind, reduce stress, and spark creativity. 3) Cooking at home 🍳 not just to cut expenses, but also to nourish the body and cultivate connection with loved ones. 4) Journaling ✍️ not only recording thoughts, but also improving mental clarity, emotional release, and creative expression. 5) Yoga 🧘‍♀️ beyond flexibility, it enhances strength, mindfulness, and stress management. 6) Playing with children 👶 not just bonding, but also burning calories, sparking joy, and seeing the world with fresh eyes. 7) Listening to music 🎶 not only entertainment, but also mood regulation, memory recall, and inspiration. 8) Cleaning/decluttering 🧹 not simply tidying space, but also reducing anxiety, boosting focus, and creating a sense of accomplishment. 9) Walking in nature 🍃 not only physical activity, but also grounding, lowering blood pressure, and improving mood. Let's chase all these rewards! Can you do me a favor and add on your own list?

The Great 33
Inspired by @Rachel Bents 100days of fun. I want to make it my personal journey towards new year of 2026. 2026 is the year where I turn 33. Why is it so special is because 33 is my favorite/ lucky number. And I've always dreaming of living my best life at 33! So, here's my goals and promises to reach the lucky 33 and make it the best year of my life!🤩 1️⃣ I'm gonna strengthen my relationship with my spouse, I will communicate better with him. 2️⃣ I am letting go of my attachments to sadness, negativity and previous trauma, as those stories are already in the past, and I already went through all of them, and they are all my history. 3️⃣ I'm gonna practice gratitude and contented with materialism. 4️⃣ I'm gonna wake up everyday with calm, peace of mind and good intention. If I feel headache, or brain fog, I will supple myself with cold water. 5️⃣ I'm gonna love my job as they provide me comfort, pay my bills and give me sense of purpose in life. I need to be more professional and always upgrade my knowledge in order to become more confident. 6️⃣ I'm forgiving my late father for leaving me when I was a kid and I'm gonna accept that both my parents are no longer alive and I need to be comfortable leading my own life. I want them to have good and peace afterlife. 7️⃣ I'm gonna be the best & fun mother in the world for my great daughter. These are my promises... What's yours? 😻
