Live Coding Interviews vs LC
Today I had a technical interview via Coder Pad. I feel like I crushed it. I was able to explain my code as I wrote it and my solutions worked almost immediately. The first one did, the second one I had a few typos to work through. Around 8 Weeks of algo practice on LC and a few other places and I barely feel like I'm where I was a few years ago when I binged on this stuff for about 4 months. To be fair, I'm still struggling with hard LC problems and I don't think I'm ready for a FAANG interview but to date, this is the best I've felt after doing one of these. If you haven't done a "whiteboarding" interview before here are 3 things to know: 1. You are not always expected to solve the problem 2. Most companies look for 2 things: problem solving and communication 3. Communication is more important for some companies FYI I don't want to say the company name, but I will say they are a large financial firm that you have probably heard of

Congratulations Jarrod.
New Group Focus
Hey All, after much contemplation I decided that the best way I can help people in this group is to provide tools, strategies, tactics etc. for landing your first or next Dev role in 2025. The first of these is the new FAANG Hards course. I will also be sharing the strategies and tactics I used to land 2 offers for a new job in 2025 (they were days apart on Jan 31 and Feb 6). What all would you like help with?

I'll be looking forward to hear about the strategies and tactics.
Pivot
If I keep the group going I feel like I need to focus more on dev stuff than AI specifically. How many of you would be interested if I did that? Leave a comment if it would be worth it to you all to tell the story how I got 2 job offers within the last week.

That would be great.
Interviewing
I'm reflecting on my recent interviews even though I have a few remaining. I've found interviewing recently unlike any other previous experience. Are any of you looking for a new role? If so, how can I help?

As a web developer seeking my first full-time job, it would be great if you share any experiences about your interviews.
