Such a great community and @Marilyn Harris sure knows her stuff.
Affiliate income became my second biggest revenue source. Here's the mechanics behind it
I honestly can't believe I'm writing this. This month, for the first time, referral income sat behind only consulting in my income stack. I'm not saying this to impress anyone. I'm saying it because six months ago I genuinely didn't think this was possible for someone like me. Skool changed that and I don't say that lightly. The enemy here isn't effort. It's the assumption that building a second income stream requires building a second thing. Affiliate income doesn't work like that. You recommend what you already use. Someone acts on it. A small cut comes back to you. The recommendation keeps working after you stop. Every conversation you're already having with your members about tools, platforms, communities is a referral waiting to happen. The difference between it earning nothing and earning consistently is usually just a link and a habit. That's the kind of thing I unpack inside the Skool Monetisation Lab for community owners at the $0 to $500 a month stage. If that's where you are right now, come and have a look. It's free. https://www.skool.com/skool-growth-lab-2540/about Des Dreckett - Skool Monetisation Lab

@Paulo Costa, The Roaster That's the way!
Your copy sucks
... for someone, and it always will. But it might be perfect to someone else. That's the thing about marketing, you will never have a perfect message to everyone, so you will always need to target. Are you paying auditors and marketing experts to help you improve your brand? That's good, but do they get what you're doing, do they get what your client wants? Or are they just trying to fit you in a box that will make you look like everyone else that worked with them? On Roast & Promote you can submit your website, about page, ads and content to be roasted by a variety of people. I'll tag members that are relevant to what you do. So you get roasted by people who are walking the same path you are. And it's free! Why Roasts? Why not audits? Because I'm having fun with my brand, I'm targeting Skoolers who are building their businesses the same way that I'm building mine, without the fear of experimenting things out and having fun. People who know that community is about building relationships and learning with interaction. If you're bothered by the sillines of my BBQ posts and dragon lore, this is not for you. And that's perfectly fine. What about you? Who are you trying to target with your message? Are you willing to get roasted to find out if the copy is landing for the right people?

Looking for Skool community owners who want to present inside the Skool Monetisation Lab
SML is a free community for Skool owners at the ยฃ0 to ยฃ500 a month stage. The members are serious about building something that actually generates income, but most of them haven't had access to people who've done it yet. That's what this is about. If you're a community owner who's crossed a meaningful revenue milestone on Skool and you're willing to share what actually worked, not the polished version, the real version, I'd love to have you present to the group. In return, I'll come and present inside your community on YouTube strategy, Skool conversion, or wherever I can add the most value to your members. Just one community owner helping another community's members move forward. If that sounds like a fit, drop a comment or send me a DM and we'll figure out the details. If you're not at that stage yet but you'd like to be around people who are, the Skool Monetisation Lab is free to join. https://www.skool.com/skool-growth-lab-2540/about Des Dreckett - Skool Monetisation Lab
