THE ROADMAP ASSIGNMENT
I will definitely use this strategy. My potential roadblocks are time, lack of filmmaking experience, and recalibrating my thinking about scale at first. None of these roadblocks are insurmountable. The only way I can truly fail is by not trying.
The ROADMAP Assignment
Assignment #1: Will I use this strategy? Yes. Assignment #2: If yes, what are my 3 biggest roadblocks? If not, what are the reasons? 1) Time, 2) Paying the bills 3) that’s it!

The TRUTH Assignment
Assignment #1: My biggest takeaway is: it is possible! Assignment #2: My biggest concern/challenge is: not doing a good job.

My takeaway is that success is possible in this endeavor if one has determination, resilience and a workable plan. My biggest concern is that I have zero hands-on filmmaking experience. But really, I only see that as something to overcome.
The Lie Assignment
What’s one “Lottery System” you’ve tried? As an actor I love the art but I hate the business, so I never really auditioned much. I auditioned for a manager in New York when I was 13 and it didn't go anywhere so I just stayed in class and enjoyed working on stage with my teacher from acting school. What did it cost you? It cost me a great deal of time. Acting is very flirtatious and sometimes I wish my passion was some sport like baseball or football, because at some point you'd know that its not going to happen and you can move on with your life. With acting it can happen at any age, so sometimes I wish I could give up. But i cant, and I'm back. Always trying to get in through the side door. But I think your methods are accurate and I'm willing to take the action required. What’s your biggest takeaway from this video? I need a proof project! I need to start writing and producing my own work.

The lottery system that I tried was book competitions. I won and placed in several minor competitions and although it was fun, it didn’t really lead to anything. Winning competitions is akin to being let in the mansion for a nice afternoon tea. Then, after a suitable time has passed, a furtive glance from the host to the butler gets you whisked out the door because you are not really in the club. My takeaway from the video is that knowing the proper path saves one a great deal of time on the journey.

Hi. I’m Everett from Montana. I’ve written several books in the Western genre and my goal is to see those stories come to life in a visual medium. I’ve recently started adapting one of the books into a screenplay.
