Skool “Hobby” pricing $9/mo
For everyone who has wanted to start a group but have been put off by the price - Skool now is offering a $9/month Hobby price group. I had moved away from starting a community for my consulting clients (mostly because of the management side), but now am considering it again. How about yall? Anyone considering starting a “hobby” community?

I've been on the wall, but now I wanna dance with somebody
I'm not new to the party... I've joined some time ago, but just been standing on the wall... But I've decided to dance after learning of Skool's new offering. With this decision, I thought why not come visit here and just finished listening to Mariah's "Big Reveal" Podcast episode and I love the way she explained how she decided to use Skool. Looking forward to engaging in this space!

Curious about Skool features
Maybe someone here knows. Can I set up a Skool account that has free members and paid in one group? I am pretty sure I can, but I am wondering how many membership tiers I can have. For example, I am thinking I want a free community, then a monthly / annual Tier 1 (recorded content only), then a monthly / annual Tier 2 (which will include live calls). Would I need more than one school account for that? Anyone know? Thanks in advance.

@Anna Lively You can pick just one at a time, but you can have members on different tiers within the exact same group! So you could start is as FREE, and then have something down the road where there is an upgrade that could be unlocked within the classroom. Members can also switch to a paid version, but they would have to leave the group and come back to make that happen. In my group, I actually have a few clients who joined for free, and some others who joined at an older annual-only price point, and then I have others who have joined at the monthly/annual price as I have now. One thing to know is that there is a way that you can make the annual option unlock EVERYTHING. So if someone has free membership vs. paid monthly membership, unfortunately they have the same access unless you manually give them access in other ways. BUT, you can set courses to be unlocked with an annual membership. The current dynamics aren't seamlessly conducive to what you want. HOWEVER. They're supposed to get there, soon enough, and it's on the roadmap. But even when it happens, it will just be TWO tiers that are possible simultaneously. 1/ Free and 2/ Paid

@Anna Lively Good! I LOVE SKOOL! Totally love having a group here for my clients and love the experience. I'm a geek about it and the workarounds, so please don't hesitate to ask follow-up questions. I'll probably know the answer!! 😅🤓
1month of free mini course with short content, is too much?
Hi 😊 I have a business on courses of making jewelry, I always had lauch with free mini course in 7 days with 3-4 videos of 15-25 minutes and final webinar. Recently, I have notice that the focus is changed and people ask more time. Maybe this formula is not the best? So, this is why I'll try with 1 month of mini course on Telegram, every week I'll publish a short video, answer to question, explain some particular ecc...until final webinar for open the subscriptions. Have you some suggestion? Have you try something similar? Every comment is important for me, thank you! ⭐

Personally, I find that 30 days is a really long time for a free offering. If they'd like it to be longer, and they can invest the time, hopefully they'd also be willing to put some amount of financial investment in!
