I created FinalScribe - an AI-powered multilingual transcription tool
Hi everybody. I have been developing an AI-powered transcription application called FinalScribe. It allows you to use voice recognition to identify just the positive and relevant findings. It then populates your custom-made (or premade) templates with the positive findings, keeping intact structures in place. If done well, it increases your reporting speed. I am buidling it to learn to tools and to make myself more efficient and I am using it now daily. So the primary intention is to make my life easier (mainly autoformat function and grammar correction in german). But while doing it, why not try and make a proper app out of it... The program is available in 9 languages (English, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian, Polish, Lithuanian, Romanian). I can only test english and german and it works well. 🎯 Key Features: • Multilingual AI Transcription - Supports 9+ languages with OpenAI Whisper integration • Medical Template System - Pre-built radiology templates + custom template creation • Intelligent Text Processing - GPT-4 powered medical text correction and structuring • Professional Audio Optimization - Automatic conversion for optimal transcription accuracy • Secure Cloud Platform - Zero-Footprint and no Patient Identifing Data makes it secure 💡 Real Benefits for Healthcare Professionals: ✅ Time Savings - Transform voice recordings into structured medical reports in minutes ✅ Quality Assurance - AI-powered medical terminology correction and standardization ✅ Workflow Integration - Seamless template-based reporting for consistent documentation ✅ Accessibility - 7-day free trial with flexible subscription options ✅ Global Reach - Multilingual support for international medical practices 🚀 Perfect for: • Individual radiologists unhappy with their current voice recognition or typing The platform combines cutting-edge AI technology with practical healthcare workflows, making medical documentation faster, more accurate, and professionally formatted.

Hello, I am pleasantly surprised by the option to use the Lithuanian language. I tried it out and really liked the whole concept. I could definitely apply it at work. The downside is that the AI changes some of the radiological terms I dictate into strange variants. Is there or could there be a possibility to add specific words to the AI’s dictionary, similar to how it works with Google Autocorrect?

@Christoph Agten Thank you very much!
Knee chondral zones
Hi. Which classification do you use to specify the exact location of a cartilage defect in the knee joint?

@Christoph Agten Yes, I mean the location of the cartilage damage in the knee joint. Orthopedic surgeons in Lithuania want the exact location and size of the cartilage lesion to be described, as they apply artificial membranes over the damaged areas. This information is necessary for surgical planning. Until now, an old classification from a roughly 20-year-old article has been used — it’s very complicated and also contains errors. @Barry James replied very good alternative in my opinion. I will discuss this with traumatologists since they asked me if I know something better than we currently use.
Questionable meniscal hyperintensities.
https://www.cmrad.com/cases/1076527277 61 y female. Pain in medial knee. PD FS sag I do see small MM defect from inferior articular side - is it enough for calling it rupture, mby artifact? What about LM if hyperintensity that looks like degeneration reach articular surface - according Lotysch grade 3 (tear). Balancing in between over and underdiagnosing:)
