Heathcote -------- Q: What was it like before the fellowship, and could you summarize the situation you were in a year ago? Traian Stroia: I mostly lacked confidence. I had almost no feedback regarding my reports. It was difficult because I am a young consultant radiologist, so I did not have so much experience. It is very hard to find someone who can help you with your MSK cases... Before, a knee was about 30 minutes. Now it is no more than five. Q: Could you introduce yourself and say what you were doing professionally a year ago? Traian Stroia: I am not an MSK-only based radiologist. I do a lot of CT and oncology and I am now even faster on all my reports and more confident. I work in a psychiatry hospital and also mostly in private practice. Only in private practice, MSK. Q: What were the main problems you were having before with MSK cases? Traian Stroia: The lack of feedback, that was the biggest issue. I did not know if my reports were good... And always having second thoughts. That report, was that a tear or not? Did I write that thing correctly? Q: What has been the impact on your career? Traian Stroia: I feel better. I am faster. I earn more money... Before, I had maybe 10 cases per day, CT and MRI, and now I am over 30 in the same amount of time. I have more time with my family and I am overall more satisfied with how my work is in general. Since doing the fellowship, my earnings have increased three or four times. Q: How would you describe the fellowship process?
