Favorite music festival
Question to the group. What is your favorite music festival or one you have always wanted to attend. I have done to Pickathon the last three years and it is my favorite week of the summer!

Nelsonville Music Festival in Nelsonville, OH is amazing!!! We’re still waiting for full lineup but excited for Geese, Wednesday, SG Goodman, Big Frida and more for this summer!

@John Ware it’s one of the best events I’ve ever attended. So thoughtful and in a beautiful setting. Also very affordable. My friend and I get VIP and it’s only $350 for all three days. They should be announcing more artists any day now too!

Don’t Touch That Dial - Wedding Present
NYC KEXP Fans
Hi All, I'm in Downtown Brooklyn. Any NYers here? It's flipping FREEZING here right now. Are most from the PNW?

I’m in Ohio so same time zone but too far for a meet up. 😎. I just wanted to validate the cold plus snow commiseration. It’s currently 9 degrees with 15 inches of snow and I can’t get my car out so I’ve been trapped at home since Saturday!
Fav Band You Can't See live
What's a favorite band that you weren't able to see live? There has to be some rules on this one, so here we go: - You must have been able to see them at some point, but didn't, for whatever reason - There's no likely way for you to see them live in the future, for whatever reason For me, there was a chance I could have seen Concrete Blonde play in New Mexico, but I only found out about the concert the day before, and there was no way I would have been able to make it up to the show never mind getting tickets. Also for me, there's bands I thought I'd never see which I've now seen four or five times, and bands that felt like they were right there which I never caught.

I missed The Cranberries because I got sick at a rock festival in Belgium when I was an exchange student. I hadn’t been feeling awesome and had a cough but that wasn’t going to stop me because I was 19 and an idiot. Unfortunately for me I actually had pneumonia and around 8 pm I passed out and woke up in the medical tent. Then I passed out again and woke up at the hospital. Missed The Cranberries obviously 😭
First Show
I've considered doing a Morning Show about this but I only have 3 hours. It would take me 3 months. So mine was 16 years old, Jane's Addiction with Mary's Danish opening at Eastern Washington University. I remember walking in to "Coming Down the Mountain" and seeing bodies flying in the air, everyone wearing black, just absolute MAYHEM and all I wanted to do was more of this! I stayed out the pit that day and just stood there in awe to be seeing and hearing the music from a band I loved. I was HOOKED. I think they played 30 minutes because Perry was a mess but I didn't know any better and in fact was shocked when I saw a band play longer! Also first show in Seattle? Pixies. Moore Theater.

First show. Junior year of high school. Depeche Mode at Richfield Coliseum in Cleveland, OH. Kicked off my 30+ year live music addiction!
