Be a PAIN RELIEVER EVERY DAY!
DON'T BE A TURKEY DICK! SELL STUFF! EVERY DAY! If people have a pressing present pain...and my (or someone else's) offer relieves it...I'm doing them a disservice by keeping it to myself. If one symptom/offer solution falls flat… Find a different symptom with a more pressing present pain and roll out another one. There was a great story in Better Call Saul. (A spin-off show from Breaking Bad.) Saul was a manager of a pre-paid cell phone store paid on commish. The store was on the outskirts of town and almost nobody came in. So he couldn't change the PRODUCT... But he could do TWO THINGS: ONE: Change the positioning of the product and the PAIN that it solves and for WHOM. TWO: There was no law that said he couldn't leave the store and go where the customers are. So... Instead of selling: Unlimited minutes. Unlimited texts, blah, blah ...which wasn't working... Here's what Saul did... He soaped up words all across the window frontage of his store: TOP LINE: IS THE MAN LISTENING? BOTTOM LINE: PRIVACY SOLD HERE! He called out a PRESENT PAIN. He offered the SOLUTION. IN TWO LINES! He sold them as untraceable, untrackable, PRIVATE burner phones. He sold them to people who NEEDED privacy. The present pain was worry about getting CAUGHT in dealing drugs, having an affair, dodging taxes, etc. Not only did people start streaming into the store... He went out on the streets to sell them. HE CLEANED UP! NOBODY GAVE A FUUUUCK that he made offers because he had the CURE to their PAIN! If he had to change the window sign because nobody was coming in, would anyone care? NO! It's smart. If you make an offer that doesn't hit. CHANGE IT! CHANGE IT FAST! THERE ARE PEOPLE IN PAIN! FIND A SYMPTOM/PRESENT PAIN that calls out to them. Saul was out on the street approaching HARDENED CRIMINALS COLD...(offering private calls for their friends in prison. He'd sell MULTIPLES at one time.)... They literally could've popped a cap in his ass. But they didn't!

For outreach on this...do you lead with the problem (algo drama, not making money from content) or the "tool" (skool/community)? i.e. "your channel is killer! Love how you break down development in such a practical way while everyone else blabbers about wholesaling... do you think you'd do more deals, and help your peeps get out of their way faster if they had a COMMUNITY they could interact/ask questions instead of just consume content? ...would it be totally ridiculous if I just set it up for you, or is that a totally stupid idea?"

Yay, with a distinction if I May... in REI, if you find a good deal you can "JV" with someone for the cash, but basically you're "buying equity" from distressed sellers or those who don't know what the Highest & Best Use could be (information arbitrage). You do a great job of PARTNERING with your "Seller" (aka asset owner) and "hiring out" your copywriters (contractors)... is this simply because the MARGINS are there and you've Tested on the cheap or is it something else? Having done both Beamer deals and RE Development deals (as well as land wholesaling), it's always helpful when you relate abstract ideas like "mindset/investor stance" with concrete examples as in real estate dealmaking (or your "pigs" car wash/flipping example)

@Travis Sago much appreciated breaking it down in language I understand!! The best part is, even in the Land example — you don’t even need to “have” the $200k for acquisition, just ACCESS/control over it. Same deal with the IP which actually moves faster than “paper” or “dirt”!!

I think I made my first 0.73c via Amazon affiliate links from a fitness blog that never ended up getting traction... made my first $5,000 sale offering "executive coaching" which I grew to some decent size before I burned it down because I hated being a "coach".
