🧠5 Genius Email Hacks Top Marketers Don’t Want You to Know
The greatest email marketers are using 5 hacks to increase their performance right under your nose. When I started using them, my open rate shot up from under 20% to over 50%. Even using one will make a huge difference: 1. "Block" Text 📄 Ever received an email that had a huge pile of tiny text at the end? I used to think great marketers like Ravi Abuvala did this for legal protection, but the truth is much simpler. Every email marketer knows promo words like "free" & "sale" crush deliverability. The problem: It's hard not to use these while promoting (if you want to sound normal). By adding a long, boring block of text, you reduce the ratio of spam-triggering words to normal words, giving you more room to breathe. 2. Subdomain Sending 🌐 Protecting your primary domain is extremely important. If you get blacklisted or get too many spam reports, you'll need to wait for months before it can recover. Instead: Make 3 subdomains and add them to your CRM. If one gets burned, you switch it out instantly for no downtime. 3. Domain Management 🛡️ You're probably warming your primary domain with Instantly, Smartlead, or another free warming tool. These are great for most domains, but they aren't the best in class. To keep your primary domain as safe as possible, use Warmy(.io) to: - Warm it - Track potential blacklists - Monitor deliverability It's more expensive, but easily worth it so your primary domain stays secure. 4. Custom Unsub ✉️ In most email marketing campaigns, there's an unsubscribe link at the bottom that instantly removes anyone who clicks it. The problem: Most people just want to receive less email, not opt-out completely. Instead: Create a custom unsubscribe link that takes people to a 3-option form: - Hear from me often (every email) - Hear from me less (important emails) - Hear from me never (no emails) This saves people who only wanted fewer emails from being gone forever. 5. Smart List 📋 If you want your emails to rarely bounce or be reported:
