What's Your Relationship With Selling?
What is your relationship like with selling? I see so many people who feel like selling is a bad thing. They feel like it's deceptive and if they sell people might think they're trying to take advantage of them. A lot of people even see it as disgusting. I get it. I had my own hang-ups around sales for a long time. It didn't seem natural. It seemed imposing and I didn't want to be "pushy." But... What if selling is the key to helping more people than you ever thought possible? Most of the time we need someone to help us get out of our own way. That's what sales does. It helps us get out of our own way. When we approach sales from the perspective of service to others it isn't sleezy or bad. It changes lives. Sales isn't bad, it isn't dishonest or "pushy" when done right. When done right it helps the people who need you get what they need. What is the one thing holding you back from embracing sales?

@Liisa Reimann That’s actually a powerful reframe Being a specialist feels way more relatable and honestly, people trust that more than the “perfect expert vibe. You’re selling real experience, not a pedestal, and that’s compelling. Plus, I can sell that all damn yeah, you already know So be honest… when are you officially putting, Specialist, Not Expert (Yet) on your business card? 😜

@Clayton Dosier That’s a great point. When it’s done to serve others, it’s not boasting at all — it’s showing them what’s possible. To answer your question: the toughest days are when motivation is low, so I just aim to show up and do the minimum. Starting usually fixes the rest. Quick, joking question, do you ever post your progress and then think, “Okay… inspiration or humble-brag?”
What I am learning so far...
Okay, in listening to one of the clips, the most valuable thing I learned was to use trial closes throughout my presentation. And now, I am watching frameworks. I'm trying to discern how to implement this with my ultimate lifestyle club presentation which typically is 20-30 minutes. Anyway, I'm excited to learn how to attract the right people and get more-buy-in as customers and brand ambassadors, as I grow as a leader. My goal is to help people have more fun, freedom and fulfillment through this vehicle.

@Kylene Heykants Perfect that’s a strong timeline. Targeting the end of January gives you the advantage of higher attention, stronger intent, and a more receptive cold audience coming out of the New Year reset. It also gives you ample time to refine your messaging, creatives, and webinar flow so you’re not rushing your first Perfect Webinar. With that in mind, the next strategic step is clarity around the offer and audience:Who is the cold traffic audience you plan to target, and what specific transformation or result will the webinar promise them? Once that’s locked in, everything else ads, registration, and conversion can be built with much more precision.

@Nasser Ghanemzadeh Got it January is a great choice. With a January launch, the key will be using the time leading up to it to dial in your messaging, audience targeting, and webinar structure so everything is aligned for cold traffic performance. To make sure we prioritize correctly:Have you already defined your offer and ideal customer avatar, or is that something you’d like to refine before building the ads and webinar content? That clarity will determine the most effective next steps.
