Maintenance man serviced accommodation hack we use 😃 As we scaled we realised Maintenance was a headache which needed to be fixed! So we hired a Maintenance Man as most do! Full time in house! Now what we soon realised was that sometimes there were weeks where he was literally doing nothing as there was not much Maintenance issues going on (which was good thing) So we thought why not hire our Maintenance man out to other operators in the area? Think about it we'd charge another operator in the area a call out fee labour fee etc as a normal Maintenance person would but as this Maintenance man works for us we'd bag 100% of the income! So we started doing that booking him for jobs for other hosts whenever he was free and the income generated started to cover his salary and sometimes also making a little profit 😀 Good little hack to think about if you're in serviced accommodation which we implemented years ago but good to share for anyone scailing up on their journey Think outside the box 📦
