Hey everyone! 👋 I’m Arnold, originally from Singapore, and currently based in Chiang Mai, Thailand. I've travelled to 22 countries in my life. I’m an entrepreneur and digital nomad, and I’m here because I’m really interested in connecting with other people who are building things, experimenting with different ways of working, and figuring out what kind of business and life they actually want. I’m currently working on my own business, SelfSync Studio, which is focused around intentional living, wellbeing, burnout, and the way we approach work. I’m also exploring freelance/VA-style business support and different ways of building income online. My background is actually in Industrial & Systems Engineering, so I’m quite interested in the intersection between business, systems, creativity, and people. I’m not exactly in a community building phase at the moment, I’m more interested in the broader entrepreneur journey: figuring things out, trying ideas, meeting interesting people, learning from other businesses, and sharing what I discover along the way. I am inside the build of a community that has gotten married! I began Ask Lynne in June and then opened The Halls, some of you will remember this! Then I took a mental health hiatus and came back to find that the Halls had fallen silent. I was so grateful to my friend who had take them over, but now she too is struggling a bit! Last week I suggested to her and the members of The Halls that I could bring everything into Ask Lynne and this has been going smashingly for the past - oh I do not know, can it really only be 4 or 5 days? Here is where I need your help/idea/brilliance. Ask Lynne has a vast Resource collection in the classroom. 14 individual resources packed with needed material for what I was doing. NOW - the founders from the Halls are joining us and my VIP offers a course in the classroom too! I need to condense and I have been but it has not been easy. Is it ok to put 3 courses together that once lived alone? AND more importantly Can I successfully put more than one offer in a course space and have them both under the umbrella of one course name and then the offers live on separate pages? We all know that most people scroll on their phones. How do I place my resources, my offers and the mini-ad type courses so everyone gets seen. I am staggering them now and moving them around daily. Help, ideas, wisdom? @Donna Thornton @Todd Thornton and everyone else too! Thank you in advance for your ideas.

I know @Mikael Van gogh and I are in the built different than most, as we follow our human design(our energetic blueprint) I still want to share the difference after we closed down our paid community and I/ we openend a new free one. The first group was opened from our lived experience yes, but it just didn't land in the people there, 30 members who grandfatherd into the paid. Or for us. 🫣 We did everything we could to optimize descriptions, about page and banner weekly. And we did chat with some of the members behind the scenes. But something still didn't feel right and most of the time it was like talking to an empty room.😞 Luckily we keept growing and aligning with our embodiment of our human design daily, and know how to make the right descisions. And something came to me that just landed differently in my own energy and from that our new community was created like 5 days ago. 🥳 From the get go people in our nearest network said yes to join and since then new members come in daily and the community is alive, ❤️people are sharing and engaging and asking questions.🥳 Yesterday we closed our paid group. Because what we feel in this new community is that the foundation to actually scale a business, eventually needs to have a foundation of people that feel safe with you.😌 And thats exactly what our new community is already turning into. 🙏 Our community makes me/ us whole and thats the foundation we need to grow any kind of business. Because everything is a transaction and it starts with an energy transaction. 🥰

Early this year, after 2 years offline @Mikael Van gogh and I descided to build a new online business, but it had to be fully aligned with our Human designs. If you don't know what that is, in a really short form its your energetic Blueprint. It takes a lot of letting go of thinking, and a lot of being in the body. Its been quite a process. ❤️😅 Luckily we are both here to share our lived experience so that has been our foundation for anything else.🙌 Going back online also meant building a new online presence, and we both felt stuck in our energy when we went back to following trends and polished content 🫣 It took a lot of walks, breathwork and reflection and feeling into our designs. But what came out if it was magical,💥 Mikael created a group around his passion which has nothing to do with our business, suddenly he had a joyful energy around showing up building his community of likeminded people. Even though it will take time and effort if feels effortless for him.🥳🫶 I took a bit longer, as my design is to sleep on things and gain emotional clarity🥰 I got in the last week and I have now created my own group around my passion for human design. And I got my mojo back loving the energy around showing up. 🥳🥰 If we show up against our own energy we will vibrate that and people will feel that. The same goes if we show up fully aligned ❤️🥰🙏 We had to slow down to speed up and when we did that the energy shifted immediately and that is what will make us magnetic to the people we are going to attract to our paid group. 🥰🥳

I’m not trying to minimize the real concerns around AI. Sometimes humor is just a good way to start the conversation. P.P.S. AI companies asking to be regulated will reduce their long-term liability and freeze new startups out of the bigger AI market. Also, they don’t need anyone’s permission to make their current models safer on their own. Just saying.
