Hi guys! I’m (also) Ella, lol! I’ve been diagnosed for about three years, and amidst some other health issues I’ve been having a hard time, so I was interested in this community!

@Sophie Newnham also very anemic although not to the point of infusion but I can confirm treating it helps sooo much! I was feeling so much better once my iron levels were higher :)
Work tips for flare ups
I recently had a really bad flare up at work due to checking bags as a security officer at work and got glutenized. Does anyone have any tips that may help keep it a little tolerable to make it through? Im only allowed 24 hrs of sick time at work and had to use it for a eye injury 😔

Gluten challenge
Hi, I have been gluten free for three months and have just started to eat gluten again for the endoscopy. Has anyone got any helpful advice on how to get through it. It’s not been a week yet and I feel awful. Also will the side effects always feel this bad, are they likely to get worse or ease over the next six weeks x

I’m late to the party but I would try ginger chews! It’s supposed to be good for nausea
Introduction, any pointers for getting rid of bloating and excess burping?
Hi ladies, I am pretty new here and to celiac. Got diagnosed last september. I was mis-diagnosed with IBS from 2020. On and off I have been on gluten free diet from 2020 as part of low FODMAP and now completely gluten free from September. My gut lining is flat on endoscopy. have nutrition deficiencies which get corrected with iron infusion and supplements. I still have very prominent and harrassing bloating and burping throughout the day and night. is this common at all ? poop cycles are normal but gas formation doesnt leave me while i want to heal and atleast go back to some work life too. this gas problem also isolates me from socials. and I know no one who has celiac or even remotely similar disease. Please help out. I am not able to understand when and how gas formation will stop and healing would happen!

I’ve found that it really took about a year after diagnosis to find that I truly start to feel better. It’s just a lot your body is going through, and learning how to manage glutenings and stress and the strictness is tough to get done in a shorter period of time.
