Try this with your dog this week 🐾
The Muffin Tin Challenge 🐶 Want a quick enrichment game that gets your dog’s brain working? Take a muffin tin and place a few treats or pieces of kibble in some of the holes. Then cover all the holes with tennis balls, toys, or scrunched-up paper. Now let your dog figure out how to uncover the food. Why it works: 🐾 Encourages problem-solving 🐾 Builds confidence 🐾 Taps into natural curiosity and foraging instincts 🐾 Provides mental stimulation in just a few minutes The goal isn’t speed—it’s letting your dog think and work out the puzzle themselves. If it’s too easy, cover every hole. If it’s too difficult, leave a few treats visible to help them understand the game. How does your dog approach it? Do they use their nose, paws, or go straight in with brute force? 📸 Drop a photo or comment below and let us know how they got on!

Leo loved doing this! Took him a while, great making him use his brain in this hot weather 🥰

👀 Eye Contact = Engagement Following this week’s challenge, I’ve put together a short video showing how I build eye contact and engagement with my dog. Eye contact isn’t about staring competitions—it’s about teaching your dog that checking in with you is rewarding. When your dog chooses to focus on you, training becomes easier, distractions become less powerful, and your relationship grows stronger. In the video, I walk through some simple exercises you can start using straight away to encourage your dog to offer attention voluntarily. Give it a watch, then let me know in the comments:🐾 How did your dog get on with this week’s challenge? 🐾 What situations do you find it hardest to keep your dog’s attention? Looking forward to hearing your progress!

Brilliant exercise! I tried this on my walk with Leo and he loved it! Next step to try the stop and sit 🤞🏻
🐾 LickiMat® fans... this one's for you.
I filmed a quick little idea using BarkyBakey dough on a LickiMat® with a few simple toppings from the kitchen: 🥕 Carrot 🍎 Apple (no seeds) 🥥 Coconut 🎃 Pumpkin seeds Takes minutes, keeps there lil minds busy, and Cookie was very much in favor of the taste-testing process. With a LickiMat and puzzles you can do so much. I made this dough out of coconut flour, tapioca flour, turmeric, beetroot and whole oats (all organic ingredients) - makes a lovely pink mess 😆. Then I packed in the veggie bits. There are no animal byproducts so I just eat a bit as I go (taste testing you see;). If you guys do LickiMats, what's your go-to?

Leo, he is almost 2! He loves a benny bone and loves a frozen Kong and lickimat! 🥰 Funniest habit is his ‘dobby’ ears when he gets excited 💕
