Using different light combinations on Krypton
I have the Krypton & want to know if I can use the UVA & UVA without turning on the LED & COB. Can someone talk about using different combinations of all four light options and why you'd use that combination.

@Kristina Hansen Yeah, you can totally use UVA and UVB without turning on LED or COB — each light mode runs independently on the Krypton. As for combos, each wavelength does something different, so stacking them depends on your goals. Here’s a quick breakdown: • LED Red/NIR: foundation for deep tissue, mitochondrial support, circulation, etc. Great to start sessions with. • COB: more concentrated red/NIR — think laser focus. Use it when you want deeper or more targeted stimulation. • UVA: helps release nitric oxide, supports skin + immune health. Also plays a role in setting circadian rhythm. • UVB: boosts vitamin D and immune signaling, but super powerful — only a short blast needed (30 sec–2 min max depending on skin type). A lot of people follow a sunlight-mimicking flow like Stuart mentioned: Red/NIR → UVA → UVB That sequence makes sense because it mirrors what happens in natural sunlight as the sun rises. But again — the Krypton’s strong, so ease in and see what feels best for your body. You don’t need to stack all four every day to get benefits.

@Micki Contini the UV light can be harder to adjust to, so some people like to use them all on at once, then finish off with just the red for a longer session.

Sudden hearing loss/specific protocol
About 3 months ago, I have experienced this episode, it started with a terrible buzzing sound in my right ear, vertigo and in less than 48 hours this hearing loss (90%), I received from the specialist the indicated treatment for this condition, and alongside I started with sun exposure, grounding and the infrared/red light therapy at home, I’m a nutritionist and I have good habits in many ways, the infrared light therapy is really improving and supporting my recovery, today I have recovered 60% of audition, and still working to reach the 100%, is there any specific protocol or recommendations about the time of exposure or distance, to improve my daily red light routine? I have been doing 20 minutes once per day ,every day, is that enough? I’m grateful for all this amazing knowledge and your kind support.

Quick note: this isn’t medical advice, so definitely keep your doctor in the loop with any changes. But happy to share what we’ve seen help others. 20 mins a day is a solid routine. If you’re working on hearing support, you could try: • Light about 6–12 inches from the ear (close, but comfy) • Also hit the side of your neck + upper spine — helps with overall support • Try splitting into 2 sessions (10–15 mins each) instead of one longer one • You’re already super consistent — that’s huge Which EMR-Tek panel are you using?
