ADHD and Dressing Well
So one of the interesting struggles I have found is that as a neurodivergent processor I definitely tend to struggle with life in general and putting together outfits and dealing with my propensity to want shiny new things and clothing I’m not even gonna wear anytime soon. Anyone here has tips for managing your wardrobe when conventional thinking doesn’t work for you? Side note: I have this wild dream of turning my bedroom into a kind of display showing my wardrobe as if it’s inside a store ..🤣🫣. I figured I’d want to wear more of my beautiful clothing if it was presented in a fascinating way to me because it’s a thing for me. What are y’all thoughts ?

Are we part of a dying breed?
I've noticed that dressing well or even "appropriately" is becoming more and more rare. We've talked here about pajamas in public but I'm starting to wonder if we are part of a "niche" community that want to look good. I attended a funeral (graveside service) for my uncle, I wore grey suit with white shirt and black tie and brown shoes, took the extra step to match watch band to my shoes and belt. It's Novemeber and starting to snow here so I layered my wool jacket over the suit. (I can share photos if requested but was saving for an OOTD post) I was mistaken for the funeral director by several people, perhaps my view of funerals is largely outdated but I thought paying respect by dressing well was appropriate. Was I over dressed? For reference the average attendee was wearing a polo and blue jeans, there were several in hoodies and sweatpants. Myself and the funeral director were the only ones in suits and or dress shirts. What's your thoughts?

I think that also life can be so busy and require so much that people don’t have the energy and attention to give to dressing well
The STRUGGLE with SUITS
Sooo I have a significant speaking engagement next week where the dress code is essentially business casual and I’ll admit that I am struggling with it. As a highly sensitive person who’s traveling from out of country I find that though I have a lot of clothing it can nonetheless be a tedious and somewhat stressful thing for me in these scenarios. Comfort for me is a major core value and at times I find myself ruminating concerning it. Any tips or recommendations gentlemen?

Suits and Skin tone
Good morning Gentlemen! I need your help. I have attached a picture of a mint green suit I’d love to purchase for myself. I am unsure of it though because of my skin tone and wondering if you think it can work nonetheless. I’m also including a photo of a tan/brown suit I plan to add to my wardrobe as well. I’d love your thoughts

@William Wehrs that’s a good point. I didn’t think about its versatility. I definitely do like the mint but yep the question of usage matters
