Proud of the progress I've made since joining this group. The methods work if you put in the time week after week. For me the biggest difference was attaching myself to the process not the outcome. As long as I meet my daily outreach goals I know I can keep generating business. I've come to realize that the more rejection I go through I'm just that much closer to landing another client. The client is a med spa, small mom and pop business that some of my friends go to. I had an easy way to meet with the owner and just went and had a conversation exactly how the scripts go. It was surprisingly easy as after I explained to them if they could land one extra customer it would pay for itself. This is not my niche or area of expertise I just saw an opportunity and went for it. $1500 setup fee and $497 a month. Stay positive! Lets finish this week strong.

Home Show for the Win!
I went to a local home show this afternoon and walked around, talking to the exhibitors, always being respectful of them and not pitching (well maybe just a little). This is a local show, so I know a bunch of people who were exhibiting, but also chatted with a dozen or so other businesses about bots and trade show follow up. I have 6 to 8 owners who want a demo. One is going to do a pilot (I've been working on this guy for a while. He's also going to pay me to introduce him to builders in my rolodex). I'm going to have a busy week of demos. Takeaway? Home shows although requiring ultra-soft promoting and other in-person networking, are my favourite promotional activities. Next thing on the to-do list is follow up quickly with them. I think I'll do up some Looms.

Got One! Fireplace Sales and Install Company!
Sometimes it pays to be a solid human. A friend of mine, who has a fireplace sales and installation company, was having a challenge with an the agency who originally sold him a Voice AI bot. He's a really amazing person with a heart of gold. It pained me that nothing was delivered, 3 months after he signed the deal (was supposed to be delivered in 4 weeks). Because I wanted to help him out, I gave him an awesome deal, with 2 months grace and no installation charge. He's the kind of guy who will tell absolutely everyone he knows that I helped him out and, once everything is in place, will be a case study for me. I know he'll get more services as we start working more closely together. He's got a small company (125 installs a year) and doesn't need API integration with Housecall Pro, and can actually save about $150/mo. downgrading to the Standard Plan. Chalk this one up in the win column!
