Introduction Post
Hey all, let's get to know each other. just something simple, say hi, maybe where you are and something interesting about yourself. Let's post a picture of where you (or are going to) do your leatherworking.

Is it just me or is this kit missing the appropriate bevel tool? My learning - Start with basic lines and simple curves.

@GW Brown Thank you for your kind and motivating words and thank you for confirming my doubts. I took the “bad carpenter…” story a little too seriously. But when I attempt some finer curves in my work, I realize I am stumped. I have come up with a work around, so I use the smaller dotted background stamp to work with the bevelled edges. Having said that, I do picture myself getting a more professional stamp set elsewhere. P.S. here is how the work around pans out. I do miss the required depth though.

Is it possible to go back and add some tooling to a piece that I have oiled and dyed? I was wanting to add my makers mark to a piece I have been working on. The stamp is being made currently and I did not wish to stop working on it. I went ahead and oiled and dyed it so I could continue working on it. I still need to antique this but this is the cover to my wallet.

I am 56 & finally got the opportunity to explore leather tooling. I have got myself the basic tools coz India is not too advanced in the trade.
