Hello folks, Watching videos and getting inspired was my STEP 1. With a freight train full of motivation, ambition and dreams, I got myself a basic starter kit of tools, some waste leather and a belt blank. My Step 2 is “What!!!”. Quite literally, I have a standard 20 pc beginner’s tools and have just realised, that I have yet to learn how to correctly wet the veg tan, before I learn tooling. I did use a few inches off the belt blank to check my NEW 20 PCS SET. With the understanding that all new skills take a while to get better, I thought I should share a photo of “My Train Wreck” with people that could understand that this is also my first “Masterpiece”!!! To Learning!!!

Is it just me or is this kit missing the appropriate bevel tool? My learning - Start with basic lines and simple curves.
