asked my uncle to send me a picture of his wallet so I could make him a nice one. His response was I use a rubber band from the head of Napa cabbage. I thought maybe if I made him a small card holder with a clip for cash he might like that design. Does anyone have a pattern of something similar to this they would be willing to share with me? I thought I could possibly add a small strap to secure the cards in place. He said he Carrie’s about 5 cards. So three slots would likely be more than enough even 2 might just work great.

@GW Brown you challenged me to make two more of these wallets. Thank you! There have been several lessons brought forth from the previous build that have helped with this one. From cutting out my pattern to finishing my edges as the components are finished so that I can reach all of the edges easily.

Went to deliver my wallet and watchband to my patron. I gave him the wallet he purchased. All is good. I pull out the matching watchband to size it for him and the strap does not fit through the buckle!!!! Smh!! Making another strap now. Make sure it functions before you embarrass yourself. Just a friendly little tip!! It’s a good thing this was a good friend of mine.

It might be a bit much for my broken down body lol. Im looking forward to a super fun weekend though. gotta get through the hard work to enjoy the fun at the end.... words I live life by

The bifold wallet I made for a friend fetched double what I asked for it. So he gets a matching watchband. This is the finished half.
