Found an interesting set of tools.
Saw these on Amazon. Thought I would give them a try. They are a locking straight pin. They go through a hole in a stitch line and help to keep the holes lined up while stitching. I bought two packs of ten. They should help to keep a longer curved stitch line from getting away from me.

On the stich I just made they were not necessary. But I can absolutely see their benefit in irregular or complex curved seams.
How to design.
In my new bi-fold wallet build, I am ready to start on my cover. There are a couple of issues I need to address that I am not sure how to resolve. First is the issue of how much longer do I need to make the cover, to make up for the bend. Second is the stitching. How do I lay out my stitching so that my edges all line up together if one piece is longer than the rest? Third issue , I just realized is that I was wanting to line the cover, is that a new stitch line or can I use the same stitch line for the liner as I do the rest of the cover? I’m not sure how to photograph my concerns. There will be a gap in the stitching, between the cover and the inside compartments,I assume in the fold. Do I just continue to run my stitching along my cover until I reach the other section of the the inside compartments?

@GW Brown do I let my stitching go completely around the liner and just not let it go through the center inch or so of fold on inside materials?
Leather Scrap Belt
I'm working on a leather scrap belt, I've got the materials, but I'm having a hard time getting started. How do you usually motivate yourselves to get things done?

Starting is the difficult part. Once I cut the piece out I get the itch to finish it. So just start! The TV can wait for later. ( that’s my time killer).
Too thick?
This wallet is already at an inch thick empty and still no cover piece. It is almost as thick as my full wallet. I don’t know if I have any thinner leather. The thinnest veg tan I have is 4-5 oz. So this will end up being very thick.

Almost done
this has been the busiest I have been with custom orders since I started in this craft. 2 sets of BDSM cuffs, 3 pirate hats, and a pocketed harness. Just need to do the finishing touches on the second pair of cuffs and work out the strap length for the harness and Im done. Just in time for the 2 Faires coming up back to back.
Almost done

I just started playing with leather craft. I am a heavy mechanic by trade. I made some key chains for some friends for Xmas that spawned my new hobby
