Supplements
Some people are all for supplementation and some people aren't. Brian and I wanted to share our list of what we are doing and why. For starters, we try to do blood work every 4-6 months to see what our numbers look like - what's high, what's low. Our bodies are ever evolving machines, especially women in peri-menopause and beyond. We just don't make things in our bodies the way we used to and once those hormones start to shift, everything shifts with it. The supplements I am taking are very specific to me so I'm only going to share what I take that could be good for anyone. Here goes: AG1 - Everything but mostly Gut Health - start my day with it every day Creatine - Brain and Muscles L-Glutamine - Gut Health & Immunity - supports white blood cells in your intestines Vitamin D with K1 & K2 - Immunity & Heart Health B-Complex - Energy (and my B's are low) Blackseed Oil - Immunity (works wonders when you're coming down with something) Omegas - Heart Health Collagen - Joints, Bones, Hair, Nails, Teeth Magnesium Glycinate - Sleep Note: If you're not sleeping at least 7-8 hours a night, moving daily, getting sunlight, eating 80% clean and finding ways relax(breathing/meditating/journaling/Yoga), all of the above can't make up for that. We also add LMNT salts to our water for better hydration - has added magnesium, potassium and electrolytes. What's on your list?

Hi Everyone…Linda Moslow. I am new to the group. My list is very similar to Hayley’s, plus a bunch of other things for fine tuning specific to me. As far as differences…I use a product called Indigo Greens from OrthoMolecular in place of the AG1. I prefer the taste. While I take L Glutamine as a stand alone amino acid, I also take a full spectrum one called Amino Complex by Thorne. Specific to sleep, I use Magnesium L Threonate before bed, in combination with Magnesium Glycinate in the morning and night. Lastly…and I believe this supplement is paramount in importance as it relates to vascular health…Nitric Oxide. But it deserves a discussion!
