creating a drone
creating a drone to wash behind an ambient melody. all you need is a looper and a volume pedal. create an empty loop 7-10 seconds long. then use the volume pedal to swell notes in to get the layers. . i chose harmonics for this one. layered reverbs and delays. using my high strung Ibanez with a spider capo on the 12th fret (3 strings capo here) i call it "Midnight Meditation"

Does anyone use an app for song lyrics and chords that you would recommend? Preferably free. Thanks.

Cleaner
What do you all use to clean your guitars? I’ve picked up a few guitars over the years that look like they have dried sweat on them.

For regular cleaning I use a some generic guitar cleaner I picked up at my local music store a couple of years ago, (it’s “shine” spray cleaner from planet waves). It’s probably something like windex with a guitar on the label. Lol For the ones with scratches and swirls I use McGuire’s rubbing compound and then their polish. If the guitar isn’t too bad I use a polish from Music Nomad.

I popped the rear cover off of my latest acquisition and found this. What a mess. The adjustment screws won’t even turn. Looks like there may be some upgrades incoming.
