Would love to know people thoughts on ways of covering the deposit for first property. Like what options are out there if someone that wanted to get into property and start building a portfolio but wouldnt necessarily have the 20k etc to put into the property.
@Rob Rolston yikesssss! That’s where I might fumble 🤣🤣🤣 I can talk about someone’s else’s problem and how I can help them. But talking about myself in public!?… eeek! 🫣🫣😬🏃🏽♀️ Plenty of mirror practise then!
What’s the biggest lie misconceptions you’ve heard in the property industry I’ll go first “Bridging is fast” when I first started I thought you could get a bridge in about 2 weeks the truth I’m about 6-8 weeks at best
I think for me, that finding investors is easy. I know it’s about positioning and showing a clear exit but that bit seems to missed out and is often put as “just find an investor”
@Jason Gray Easily as a first timer? Or they have worked with them before? I haven’t spoken to an investor before, I think I would feel quite confident once I got the opportunity. I’d feel quite comfortable talking to people and positioning myself as a solution to a problem. So do you find they turn you down because they are overloaded with information and left feeling confused or? What’s their reaction to your offer?
I have sat in on a few webinars now just to knowledge myself and there is SO many, last night I had knowledge overload which in turn actually made me more confused. So this video brought me back to square one and what my initial interest is and what resonates with me. Thanks!
@Rob Rolston I’m not quite clear on the question but I’ll answer to what I think you mean lol So yes, I reeled back into wanting to do flips first, which is what I’ve always said I wanted to do. Build a small pot then look at long term plans such at BTL etc
You don't need a 25% deposit! 💸 You need a strategy. House hack. Seller finance. Private investor, JV Partner, BRRRR. The old playbook is dead. The new one has more doors. Exciting! Is it money holding you back? Maybe something else? Let Me Know in the comments! ⬇️⬇️⬇️
Welcome to UK Property Skool. If you feel up to it, tell us where you are at in your property journey (brand new, 1st purchase, 1-5 units etc.) and what your goals are :)
Oh nice, yes! I saw about your passion for horses, that sounds like a lovely long-term plan. Did your strategy become clearer over time, or did you always know what you wanted to focus on? It’s something I’m trying to get right, especially with how many different strategies there are.
@Rob Rolston It’s admirable how you’ve built it step by step. If you ever have space for someone to sit in and see how things come together, I’d love to! Even just seeing how one deal flows would be really valuable.. or anyone in the group actually who is at that stage! 😊
