With a few hours left in 2025, we are unbelievably close to our goal for the year. It is always amazing to me how even a quietly shared goal can become a reality. I'm not really a woo woo person, but what is it about randomly choosing Dec 31 as the date to reach 1000 that made it suddenly possible? If I had chosen Dec 1, would it have happened then, or would it just have been an unmet goal? I wonder... As we move into 2026 and start thinking about goals for January, Q1, and the next calendar year, I'd love to hear how you are approaching your goals for your business and how you choose to set "realistic" goals. I once had a coach tell me that she only makes "input" goals and not "output" goals as inputs are the only things she controls. I usually make both types of goals, but I loved the idea for focusing on what is in my control. If it feels aligned and you are moved to do so, I'd love to have your help in ringing in 2026 with our fellow 999 members. My 6 yo asked this morning why it's called Boxing Day, which resulted in a huge debate about the origins of the holiday. In a day and age when answers are so easily found online, it was kind of nice to sit and argue about all of our personal preconceived notions about the holiday... For those of you who are new (and there are a lot of you!) we are so glad that you are joining us! Since the main community is for promoting your own personal groups and services, we like to take Friday to look outward and share about the communities of others that we think are particularly beneficial and that others would like to know about. This is the only place/time where it's okay to share affiliate links (please disclose in your comment if your link is an affiliate link). I expect it to FEEL like the Classifieds (although I'd love to see some "Romeo Looking for Juliet" and vice versa here and there for fun...?! Or some variation of that). So I've been working to find the balance of allowing some promo BUT not turning my group into the Classifieds. What I'm doing NOW is that we have a whole bunch of ways that members can promote but there are some limitations too: - some posts are there specifically for advertising your group or offer(s), - you can introduce your group to us, - it's A-OK to share a link when it comes up organically in conversation, - premium/VIP members can promote anytime, - collabs that benefit members of our group are OK to share with permission, etc. - (NOW the Story Selling Friday)

Hey hey Classifieds Skoolers -- this feels like a FUN number to celebrate!!! CONGRATS to @Shannon Boyer and CHEERS to all the friends in here showing up to this sweet space where you can connect but also promote your Skool. LOVE the growth in here and good-natured thought process. I'm setting the intention to be here more but to make sure that my promos are INTERESTING when I drop them.
