Acerbic email (for Connor)
Here's the email I sent to the insurance company after they'd been dragging their feet. EDIT: Their claims paperwork says "10 to 12 weeks". At this point, we were in Week 14, and they wanted to go another round with the GP, which would take at least a fortnight. Scored a direct hit - the guy told me this is what got the claim over the line (he overruled the senior assessor, who still wanted to talk to the GP). A free Mars Bar to the first person to point out what REALLY got this over the line and why. === Begin Acerbic Email === Brendan, The Alzheimer's diagnosis from Prof. Cronin is unequivocal and backed up by an MRI (see attached). I'm sure Prof Cronin has verified this himself. If you're doubting how this is affecting Sarah's day-to-day life and you won't take my word for it, then arrange for an independent assessment because neither Dr Kelly nor the local GP can say. Sarah hasn't seen Dr Kelly since November 26th 2024 — more than eight months ago — and she has zero experience of dealing with Sarah on a day-to-day basis. So she cannot know how Alzheimer's impacts Sarah's daily life today. While Sarah is registered at the local GP following our relocation to the UK, she hasn't visited the practice. Why would she, since her physical health is good? The address is: The Barn Surgery Newbury Gillingham Dorset SP8 4XS Reception: +44 (0) 1747 824201 I don't know if she or I have been assigned to a specific GP. Ask them. You have my permission. Or I can give you a detailed breakdown of how Alzheimer's affects her, along with testimony from close friends and family. Frankly, I'm disappointed. You encourage me to ask questions, but when I do, I don't get any answers. What exactly is the delay here? I want detailed and specific answers and updates. I think your current level of service is unacceptable. I have paid my premiums in full without fail or delay for Lord knows how many years — fewer than 13 but probably more than ten — and this is how you behave when I make a claim?

@Jonathan McCulloch I call it BGS - blame, guilt, shame - all tools of the trade of narcissists and psychopaths, right? 🤔
Greetings
Morning, all. First, yes, I am mostly retired and focusing on my porn, science fiction, and taking care of Sarah for the comparatively little time she has left. My pension doesn't quite bring enough in for us to live on, but the gap is small, around £1,000 a month. I'm already 20% of the way to making that up with my Kindle empire, so building it further is a no-brainer. A £1k investment over the next year to see if I can make this work is a small risk. It doesn't hurt the insurance company has finally paid out on Sarah's diagnosis (who wants to see the acerbic email that got the cunts over the line to pay up?). I should also get a fair old wedge from the compensation claim following my near-fatal cycling accident in March (I presume you all know about that?). That, and our pension lump sums, mean we're well set up for the future. Nonetheless, I am still open to some business, primarily mentoring and consulting. But I don't need the money, and my fees will make your balls (or ovaries) hurt and your eyes water. Anyway, life is pretty good, all things considered. We're back in the UK now, living in Dorset. In a flat. In a retirement complex. It was a strategic stroke of genius on my part: it's an assured tenancy (meaning we have it for life if we want it), and it's the perfect setup for Sarah as she declines. But. It also means I'm living in a flat in a retirement complex. If you thought old people had nothing better to do all day than channel Victor Meldrew, then you are absolutely right. That said, I swear most of the other residents are already fucking dead, and no one has yet thought to tell them. The old ladies love me, and men hate me — all for the same reasons. All that, coupled with the mind-numbingly labyrinthine bureaucracy involved in importing my car from Ireland, and getting the dumbfuck institutions — from banks to pension providers and everything in between — to cooperate with their legal obligations about the lasting power of attorney I have so I can manage Sarah's finances, means I am effectively living in a Kafkaesque Radio 4 play.

Good to see your life update, EBG Retired, not retard, right? 🤣
The Revival... & what it means for you
This group is coming back. With a few changes. Here's the cliff notes: (And keep your eyes peeled for the full update) - This group is now exclusively my group. EBG will lurk in here, but he remains retired, and focused on his sci-fi, porn, and stoic writing. - I'm working exclusively with a former client who smartly snapped me up after hearing the news. So I have no need, want, or desire to sell my wares to you. On top of that it would be a breach of contract. So I literally, and legally can't. - This group is being reinstated by myself instead of creating a website, a blog, etc. My thinking is this group was producing real value for those engaging, and those lurking. So instead of putting my energy into a boring, static, isolated website - I'll put my energy back into this group. Moving forward the group will revolve around three words. Premium, Rebellious, & Profitable. Everything will be geared towards making you the go-to choice in your industry, using contrarian marketing & sales that works, and all while lining your palm with plenty of gold. The initial plan is this: 1) Rebrand the group around those words. 2) Regular writings around being a premium, rebellious, and wildly profitable company. 3) Finish, and release the never seen before 2.0 programme myself and EBG started before life happened - for free, because I don't need your money (The 1.0 version was sold for as much as £36k - the 2.0 version was going to be sold for similar amounts). Why I'm doing this will be detailed shortly. In the meantime here's the TL;DR. - This group is better than a website, and I've missed you & my former clients. - With the rise of AI, I believe community is the future. - If I can serve you guys, for free, at a level I've never done before cuz sales & bills - I'll be able to buy a lot of goodwill, save you ££££ on courses & programmes, and all while building my own notoriety. I'll speak to you sons of guns soon. Warmly, ⁂ Connor 'Remontada' Benham

Good to see this resurrection, @Connor Benham

This group used to be for book buyers. But we opened it up to the right people on an application basis. And some fucker has slipped through. He messaged my fiancé of all people offering to build her a drop shipping store. Now not only is this the one of the worst outbound messages I've seen. it's shilling drop shipping. An icky, scummy, bullshit business. Fucking drop shipping. Of all things. Fucking drop shipping. This cretin is banned. We are all for cold outreach, but not under my roof, or in these four walls. The caveat is if you can actually help the person. Then crack on. But unsolicited like this? Nah. This is a zero tolerance policy. No second chances. If he messaged you I can only apologise for letting one of 'those' people into our crew. Sayonara.

Curious - where does dropshipping rank in relation to network marketing or MLM?

Good analysis, Connor
M82: Digital edition (it's Free)
Hey Renegades, You should be able to find the digital edition of M82 inside your classroom, for free. A little bonus for being a member here. Here's a direct link You can download it as a... - PDF: So you can read it anywhere, and on anything - MOBI: For your kindle (Download it, then use this link to get it on your kindle) - EPUB: For any other e-reader, including things such as apple books In the coming days and weeks you'll also notice a few more things appearing in the group. The first will be The Death of Social Media course. Five or six videos showing you why social media is declining, why it isn't the best option if you only want a handful of high paying clients, and what to do instead. That latter part will be a quick start guide to sending direct mail so you can start booking sales meetings. And M82 shows you what you need to close those meetings into cold hard cash. Leaving you with no excuses as we trundle into Q4. Once we've got the course up, and given you the time to consume it, we are going to test holding live Q&As. Initially they will be once per month. Initially I suspect they'll be relatively quiet. But if we get a group of regulars coming along, asking good questions, implementing, and ultimately winning - we'll keep them going and increase the frequency. If they suck, we'll stop them. Simple. Keep an eye on your calendars, the first one won't be for another month or two yet. If there's anything else you'd like to see from us - let me know. At the very least it will taken into consideration. Have a good weekend.
