But you'd be up against others who are net admins, sys admins and engineers who are also applying to SOC roles for other reasons outside of career growth. You may see better results with NOC or Network analyst. If you are set on SOC then build and with open source or industry tools.

Hey Thaoban, look for MSPs and NOC jobs. The NOC tends to have overnight positions. Great for getting in. Also alot of Data center tech roles popping up as of late due to the AI race. So plenty of opportunities
