🔥 Hidden Experts In This Community?!
Do you have any coaching experience, athlete background, or specific specialty outside of hybrid calisthenics that could help others in the community? This could be things like: • Weight training • Yoga • Mobility or flexibility • Gymnastics • Parkour • Climbing • Running • Martial arts • Nutrition • Rehab or injury experience • Mindset or habit building You do not need to be a full-time coach to share something valuable. A lot of people here have useful experience from different backgrounds, and that can really help when someone has a more specific question. So if that sounds like you, drop it below: • What is your background? • What do you feel confident helping with? • What kinds of questions would you be happy to answer? @Brandon Beauchesne-Hebert id like to think so, I pretty much been treating my body as a test subject for all the different workouts and diets
Why do you enjoy calisthenics more than weightlifting?
From my experience I really enjoy the versatility for calisthenics but I actually think it's less functional so I still train legs How about you?🤓

I like doing both, like doing more unconventional lifts rather than machines or typical stuff

@Brandon Beauchesne-Hebert felt good, did back today and was doing fairly heavy weight
coming back from an injury
Im fairly athletic and in my 30s, was practicing wall handstands and pulls up before i got into an accident and broke a clavicle bone. Anyone broken one before and how long did it take before you could go back to practicing all this stuff again?

@Brandon Beauchesne-Hebert Im about 5 months post accident, and told im healing slightly faster than usually, can do fairly heavy pull downs and rows, some lighter dead-lifts, pushups, holding myself up on dip bars, just hanging from pullup bar. Been doing lighter shoulder workouts, fairly weak on shoulder presses doing less than half of my pre injury weight. Stronger pulling than pushing, doing a good amount of shoulder rehab
