FRIDAY WINS!!
TAKING ACTION: ✅ Share your weekly win below! I want everyone participating today, got it?! Celebrating yourself is an important piece of the puzzle! 🧩 Also, what are your goals this year?!! Alright, friends—even though we aren’t beginning our New Year challenge for another few days, the holidays are officially over, and now is the time to start preparing your minds—and your kitchens for what’s to come! 💯 Next week, you’re going to learn more about why the new year is a great time to pursue goals. If you’re feeling excited (and maybe even a little anxious) for next week, there’s a reason for that. Next week, we’re going to learn how to use it to our advantage! 🔥 In the meantime, we have wins to celebrate! 🎉 Remember when I mentioned yesterday that how you speak to yourself matters? On some level, celebrating your weekly wins is one way to practice this strategy. By taking the time to consider what you did well and celebrating it (especially with others), you are doing the work it takes to change the way you think about yourself—and when you change the way you think about yourself, you start acting more like who you desire to be! So, without further ado, it’s time to celebrate, friends! 🎉

New Year & Alcohol 🍷
TAKING ACTION: ✅ Does your family celebrate the New Year in a big way? Or are you in bed at your regular time? Let’s wrap up the week by participating in the comments below today! Coming up next: the New Year. 🎉 We’ve almost made it through the holiday season, friends; however, the New Year is a holiday that many of you celebrate—and celebrate big! Some of us our in our pajamas by 9:00 PM on NYE, but some of us like to ring in the New Year! Even if food choices aren’t as big a struggle on this particular holiday, there is another topic we need to discuss because it’s often consumed on New Year’s Eve— And that’s alcohol. 🥂 If you plan to have a few cocktails over the next few days, it’s best to plan for them ahead of time. Tracking alcohol is a little different than tracking your macros, and it’s important to know that you can’t simply rely on the label. If you need more information about how to track alcohol, check out this in-depth article below. The article also contains a few alcohol cheat sheets for your benefit! 🥂 How To Track Alcohol Macros | Lauren Fit Foodie

80% Full
TAKING ACTION: ✅ Do you have a hard time recognizing when you’re about 80% full? If so, do any of the tips in the article below help? ✅Focus on your Three W’s today—water, workouts, and whole foods. When all else goes awry, these simple strategies work! Also, today is our first PULL Day advanced workout. This week, we’re talking about our capacity to tackle our nutrition and fitness challenges during the holiday season. The goal is to reach your full potential—to reach your maximum capacity so that you can honor the holiday season while still progressing. There’s one caveat when it comes to reaching or expanding your capacity, however—it doesn’t apply when you’re eating. (Sorry, guys.) 😉 There is a lot of research that supports eating until you’re 80% full. One reason is that it takes your brain 20-30 minutes to catch up with your stomach. That means your stomach can be full 20-30 minutes before your brain recognizes it, so by that point, you’ve likely surpassed your capacity. A question that’s often asked is, “But how do I know when I’m 80% full?” Well, friends, I’m glad you asked. Check out the article below to learn how to recognize when you’ve reached approximately 80% capacity. This article also explains more about why 80% is the sweet spot when you’re trying to reach fat loss goals! ⬇️ How to Eat To 80% Full (And Why It’s a Key Practice for Weight Loss)

SUGAR DETOX CHALLENGE!!!!
You can, you should, and if you’re brave enough to start, you will." ~Stephen King TAKING ACTION: ✅ Eliminate all forms of processed sugar starting today! Comment READY if you’re excited to get going! The time has come, friends—it’s Day One of our annual Sugar Detox Challenge! As I mentioned yesterday, you’re ready. You’re prepared. You’re educated. Now all you have to do is take action! 💥 Speaking of taking action, you probably noticed I started this post by listing our TAKING ACTION items first. Friends, this is an intentional change because here’s the deal—knowledge is power, but action is powerful! You have to take action, and if you do nothing else each day, I challenge you to complete the daily action items—because they’re what will move you forward. 💯 For the next 10 days, we’re going to eliminate all forms of processed sugar and give our bodies the detox it deserves! As you’ve learned, it’s important to check nutrition labels for sugar and hidden sugars. I provided a list for you last week for reference. 👍 Remember, it’s okay to consume fruit and natural sweeteners like Stevia and monk fruit. Hopefully, you’ve slowly been cutting back the last couple of weeks, which will mitigate some of the side effects we discussed earlier. Just remember—it’s temporary, and you’re going to feel amazing in a few days! 🙌 Let me know if you have any questions! Let’s DO THIS! 👊
