Growth In Action - Jan. 27
Oh my goodness! I had a lightbulb moment in this class. Thanks, my beautiful friends for a VERY enlightening class. I eliminate the unnecessary mental exercise of WORRYING. Worrying has never improved anything in my life, but, it has certainly made my life more complicated.

@Cathy Frala I joined one call and Connie inspired me so much on self care that I flew to Washington then Nashville to visit both of my daughters because that is what my body was telling me so I listened lol. I look forward to joining again.
Letting go of a habit
In last week’s live coaching call, Connie asked us to choose one thing — a habit, an object, something physical — and let go of it for seven days. I decided to turn my phone off between 8 pm and 8 am. It’s not that I spend my evenings or mornings endlessly scrolling — and certainly not during the night. But I do often pick up my phone for a quick check. Just to see if there are any new messages. Just in case. By switching it off for twelve hours, I wanted to see what would happen. I expected the evenings to be the hardest part. But, interestingly, it was the mornings that challenged me most. While waiting for my tea to be ready, my hand would instinctively reach for my phone. A quick glance. Any messages? Any news? Has anything ‘important’ happened while I slept? I’m slowly getting used to not knowing what happened in the world overnight. And I already know now that this is something I want to continue doing. It feels freeing and deeply calming. It also reminds me of my twenties and thirties — a time when we didn’t know what had happened until we read the morning newspaper. And even then, it only told us about the day before, not the night we had just slept through. And I don't think that I missed out on anything back then, quite the contrary. Thank you, @Connie Riet , for this inspiration! ♥️

Great idea Rebecca !
Saturday
Happy Saturday, sweet sisters. I’m here, enjoying my coffee on this misty Pacific NW morning. Banana Bread in the oven, and gentle guitar coming through the speakers. How good can today get? Knowing I have things to accomplish, but honoring the rhythm that suits me so not to create overwhelm. I must learn how to slow down. It’s a hard lesson for me. Join me for a moment, and have a wonderful day.

Moments like these feel like paradise, don’t they? The kind where everything slows down and your soul is at peace. A beautiful, calm place to rest your mind and heart. Thank you for sharing 🥰
I'm so excited, I was featured on WSJ this week 🤗
I was recently featured in a Wall Street Journal article about minimalism and how people are rethinking their relationship with “stuff”, all centered around creating more calm, clarity, and freedom. Being part of this conversation made me reflect not just on my own journey, but on what so many of you are living, too. I’d t love to hear your thoughts on this topic When you look at your life right now, where do you feel the most cluttered, physically, mentally, emotionally, or in your schedule? When you hear words like minimalism or simplicity, what do they honestly bring up for you at this stage of life? I always learn so much from your experiences, and I’d love to hear from you. 💛 Article https://www.wsj.com/style/fashion/these-people-went-from-hoarders-to-extreme-minimalists-heres-how-29883b66?mod=style_lead_story

Congratulations ! I love when good things happen to good people ! I feel during Covid I started listening to influencers on you tube that encouraged buying clothes and home decor. When I found your videos it was so refreshing and realized I had gone down a path of consumerism that did not bring me joy. Thank you for doing all you do for us !
Is everyone ready for the great U.S. snowstorm? ❄️
The Midwest and Northeast are bracing for what’s being called the biggest storm of the season, and based on my trip to Trader Joe’s yesterday, the locals have taken this very seriously. Produce was nearly wiped out, frozen food shelves were bare, and it felt like everyone was preparing to hunker down for weeks instead of days. Now I’m debating whether I dare venture into Sam’s Club today… or whether that’s a test of character I’m not prepared for 😄. Are you stocked up and ready? Do you calmly prepare… or do you secretly get a kick out of the collective panic like my husband and I do?
