Ok, here goes! Normally I hide my eyes behind bit sunglasses because my kids love to point out there is where all my lines and wrinkles show my age. I am putting that aside and sitting with the vulnerability and discomfort — and sharing anyway!! I feel the difference inside but don't see a lot of the difference
Here’s the song - as promised - please forgive my awkwardness - Thank you for listening! Part of my healing journey has been through music. I sit down with my dear best friend Lance and we sing. It has helped me to shed light on some really dark feelings. Please reach out. You are not alone! Check in on your friends and loved ones!! Sometimes even one person showing they care makes such a big difference. @Jared Burch, thank you for setting up a network of caring people for the morning August Happy Cell Song Challenge!!
Had some big things happen: - My kids came home from a four week visit with their Dad. - Spent two days at the hospital with my Mum to find an answer / relief from neuropathy pain that is so intense she can’t sleep. - Found out today our kitty we adopted a couple of months ago has a terminal illness. Despite all this, I am still taking my morning sunshine walks and my youngest is joining me. Still singing to Happy Cell Song and Happy Brain 🧠 Cell Song.
I’ll brainstorm ideas for September. I know I want to keep singing the HCS and facing the first rays of the sun each day. This movement and filling up my vessel with life and love has made such a shift in me - for the better ☺️ Alongside the HCS, I keep singing the brain cell / memory version of the song and am - finally - lifting out of the brain fog 😶🌫️ that has been dogging me. Sending out so much gratitude for this initiative and to this wonderful and supporting community. Thanks @Jared Burch for all the you do!
