Hi All!!! Since my husband and I did the summit 6 months ago and are now part of the ongoing group, we have been doing our best to learn AI and how it can help us. My husband has had an idea for over 20 years to write a series of children’s books featuring a loveable character named Marvin the Mole. Since the last summit he has succeeded in writing 3 of the books and has also done the illustrations using AI. We have self published those 3 books. He has outlines and partially completed stories for 11 more adventures. The 3 books in print have been well received. Today I was beginning to search for publishers. But, I’m running into a road block that I’m not sure how we can overcome. The majority of publishers have statements that they will not accept any work that utilizes AI. The ideas for Jeff’s stories are completely from my husband’s wild imagination. AI was utilized to create the illustrations, however all the words used to create them were my husband’s vision. AI was also used for grammar and spelling checking. Does anyone have any idea how to navigate this issue?? Many thanks. Take care. Deanna
