Is this how you would start?
Just looking for some feedback. Would you start it this way, or approach it differently?

Are you able to do any removal of trim on the interior? Or were you pressed for time?
BACK AGAINST THE WALL — TEST
🎯 PUSHMORE CHALLENGE Today we’re not chasing a perfect repair. We’re testing your fundamentals under pressure. Pick a dent that forces you to slow down. Your objective: ⚙️ PRECISION — Can you consistently find your tip? ⚙️ FLEX/RHYTHM — Work WITH the metal, DON’T FORCE. Are you taking advantage of the science, and creating some energy? ⚙️ PATTERN — Are you moving with intention or reacting? ⚙️ PASSES — Are you controlling your progress or overworking areas? ⚙️ INTENSITY — Are you matching force to what the metal is telling you? Now here’s the rule… When progress slows down — you DO NOT switch dents. That’s the wall. Instead: - Adjust your light - Change your head position - Re-evaluate your read Most technicians fail here because they leave the lesson too early. Elite technicians stay in it until the metal gives them an answer. 🎥 If possible, record a short clip and post it. Let’s break it down together. This is where real technicians are built. BREAK THROUGH THE WALL. 👊 PUSH MORE. PAINT LESS. ⚔️

@Steven Arzapalo hey brother! Do you have one of the round balls, the tactical ball? I have them on the end of my hammers. Or a big rubber tip from Dentcraft.

@Steven Arzapalo 😂 AWESOME
Body guys/PDR PEEPS
So first off, how much would you body guys charge to fix this clean the dent up, light fill, and repaint. PDR guys- I’m guessing this one’s a pretty tough. I would think trying to get some tension on that knocked down the high spots and crowns. And try and pull as much as you can before beginning to push and knocked down. From a scale from one to 10 how hard would this one be?

Door panel off, gutted, and set on a stand. Start by addressing the lateral tension. Knock down the crowns, break up the stored energy, then begin your pushes—but with intention. You’re not just pushing the dent out… you’re rebuilding the body line. On repairs like this, I work the dent almost backwards. Once it’s opened up, I’ll manage the pressure and rebuild the depth. But when it comes to body lines, the approach changes—knock down the crown first, release that trapped energy, then push directly on the body line while walking into the center of the damage. Not the other way around. If you start in the center and move outward, you’re fighting a locked-up structure. Body lines are already tight by design, and when they take a hit, they store a ton of hidden energy. Give that line some slack first. Break the energy, then walk it in. That’s how you get movement without creating more problems… or worse, cracking the paint. ⚔️
