Struggle
This is a PDR repair I did today for a wholesale account Crease was pretty deep + 2 shots on bodyline and a semi sharp ding I can't decide if I'm happy with the results or not, I'd say yes considering the initial damage and it is very ok for wholesale But after the first 2.5h and hurting my back I put the door on a stand and tried to finish it better for 2 more hours but I feel like I barely did anything better, maybe even worse somewhere and that's disappointing to me This is raw result no sanding whatsoever only a quick buff to get rid of marks

Hey Brother, if I was the Wholesale manager, you would’ve gotten a check from me for sure! Looks good! I only see one feature that may have made life a little bit easier, and that would be the very edge of the panel. Just like your sheets on the bed, when you pull them tight, the edges get crisp. When a panel has an impact, the edges are pulled. And in your case, looking at the very bottom of the panel, you can see the inner weld protruding slightly. Lifting up the edge of the panel slightly with either a dolly or an edge plier, will give you just a little more slack, making your pushes that much easier. But Brother. You’re doing great man! I would work with you!

I truly believe that when I get dents really small they decide to play games and move away from my rod tip!! I swear it seems my placement is all around these little suckers and I can’t zero in. It’s coming up on my first anniversary. May 20th will be one year since I decided to learn PDR. I never thought how hard it would be but I love it so much!!

@Steven Arzapalo @Juan Guadarrama when I teach light usage here in the shop, the most important Takeaway when understanding your life, is that it is sending data. Early on, using one or two strips, help simplify the data sets that are being received by your eyes. Processed in the brain, and the commands that will be sent to the hands. And more importantly, the game planning. Simplify the data, but, at this point, I love tons of data! So I use all strips, and bright. It may drive some people, nuts, and rightfully so, everyone’s eyes are different. Just make sure, however, you use your light, that you understand the data that’s being received.
Xcaliber tools
Check out these pictures, they are identical! I order 2 sets of the Trauto. The four piece that came in like a week the other one’s coming from Turkey, but they are identical as the Excalibur ones for a fraction of the price.

Behind the scenes, I’ve been speaking to the owner of TrAuto. Before creating any official relationships, I’ve been getting to know him and his company. I’ve never associated myself, been sponsored by, or have received anything free from any tool companies. In fact, even though I have some of TrAuto tools coming my way, I purchased them. I wanted to see what it’s like to be on the receiving end of the shipping experience, and dive, even deeper into some of the options, and see what the quality is like. A few tools that I’ve ordered from Amazon have been great! So, if the tools work out, I’ll be suggesting more of them most likely
⚔️ PRINCIPLE #3 & #4 — PATTERN & PASSES is LIVE ⚔️
This is a big one. These two principles are where pushing starts becoming less about “making pushes”… and more about intentionally rebuilding metal with structure, patience, and control. Inside this lesson we break down:• Intentional tool tip movement• Why pattern must honor the shape of the defect• Macro vs micro patterns• Fluid adjustment as metal improves• Layering intensity within the pattern• Why passes help prevent forcing metal• The foundation repair analogy and restoring stability evenly This lesson is a major step toward understanding TRUE metal control. 🔥 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT 🔥 After I release Principle #5 — INTENSITY — I will also be uploading a FULL PUSHING PRINCIPLES LECTURE tying all five principles together into one complete conversation. The individual videos are designed to deeply break down each principle one at a time… But the full lecture is where everything will really start connecting together. That lecture will include:• Visual examples• Real-world explanations• Layered concepts• How all five principles work together simultaneously during a repair I truly believe that lecture is going to help drive proper push technique home in a powerful way. So stay tuned. Keep studying.Keep getting reps.Keep sharpening the eye and the mind. Now WORK HARD and GO BE GREAT! 🇺🇸🫡🤜🤛😎🤙
