two decent saves while training with wales and academy players!

I was on nights last night and managed to watch both the Germany penalties and the Netherlands both ending in shock results however I have never in my life seen a goalkeeper score an own goal penalty!! Worth watching to see the huge mistake that will have ultimately cost them the place! I had to watch it a few times to see how he even managed it!!

Wilson had an 8am training session this morning. Great to be on the beach weather was stunning hopefully it stays nice for July while they train then their tournament. We were runners up last year so fingers crossed another good year 💪🏻😍🤞

We had 4 grading games to see what league we would be playing in? And just our luck we were put against teams from 2 divisions up lost 3 of the 4 which wasn’t any surprise so we have our final game today Zack has been playing with a foot injury on his kicking foot and an other injury on his standing foot but still wanted to play in all of the last games he was also made Captain for our last game as he is the only one that does all the shouting 😂 so we will be playing in group D of the 4 league setup we have been struggling to get players for the games due to school trips school leavers party’s so today our last one we have nearly everyone available apart from 2 so I’m hoping they have a better game today with a stronger squad! We are on a break from today for a month so I’ll probably be off here for a while! On another note we decided that they all deserved something from the 9s so we got them all a medal to remember there time at 9s there was big smiles when they got a medal each! Yesterday's tournament was a mix bag of results and performance. We won 2, drew 2 and lost 1. Unfortunately we were beaten in the semis finals. Strange one for me and my team as we normally play 11 a side and this tournament was only 7 a side, so a much smaller pitch than what were used to. We also had quiet a few players missing which left us with a team of 6 girls who normally play in defence, 2 girls who play in midfield and a goalkeeper ha ha. I'm pleased with my overall performance though and even managed to save another penalty.
