Well Zacks school game Saturday well what can I say second game back and the same again with his defence nowhere to be seen I could see he was getting frustrated with them as I lost count on how many 1-1s he had he pulled off some great 1-1s but in the end they lost 6-4 but then the penalty shoot out so he just reset his mindset and not one ball went in to the net he saved everyone apart from 2 that went wide even the other coaches made comments one said that’s the first time his team have ever failed to score on the penalty’s and what reactions Zack has,he also has an injury to his small finger very badly bruised due to getting pushed right back and heal issues, Club game played against a very well drilled aggressive side went down 1-0 5min before HT but got a break HT 1-1 second half had a gentle reminder to the outfield look before you pass? Zack pulled of a fantastic 1-1 save but in doing this has really hurt his small finger again could see the pain in his face but would not come off he was more or less saving with one hand trying to avoid catching just punching the ball a few more 1-1s ended up with a 4-1 win and for the second week got MOTM what a lad I think he needs to take the week off training just to let the finger settle down if it’s still bad maybe have to go get X-ray! 🧤

Help i need advice im not a keeper but try and learn what I can to help my son Corey, Corey loves being a keeper and is good at his job but 1v1 he's always worried about getting chipped he has the confidence to come out but always hates getting chipped

My lad Max is currently playing up a year on a Sunday, he's up against some players that are double the size of him, stronger than him, quicker than him and a lot more physical but he still gives his all week in week out and feels like he's overlooked and unappreciated. The coaches definitely have their favourites and it shows massively! Max had an accident a few weeks ago which slightly dented his confidence and has been working so hard to get back to the old him, but now he is making a few mistakes (alongside the outfield players) and getting up during games e.g. spilling the ball or not catching it right resulting in one team mate has told him he should do better. Today both of those situations happened, but felt his defence didn't support, he made some very good saves, some extremely brave 1v1s involving another boot to the face. He hasn't had managers player since November last year and feels he isn't appreciated or valued. He left football today sobbing his eyes out saying he doesn't care anymore and doesn't want to be a goalkeeper anymore, he's such a talented little boy and obviously don't want this to be the case. Any advice what I can do? Is it the right team for him or should I consider moving him? Thanks
