Why your The Skool Classifieds posts get ignored (and it's not the writing)
Most people post in The Skool Classifieds, check back a few hours later, see minimal engagement, and conclude the community doesn't work. The community isn't the problem. The Skool Classifieds feed is a reciprocal ecosystem. When you post and leave without engaging with anyone else's content, you're essentially walking into a room, announcing something, and walking straight back out. The people in the room notice. They're just not going to chase you down the corridor. The fix is simple. Before you post anything, spend five minutes in the feed. Find two or three posts you can add something genuinely useful to. Not a thumbs-up, not "great post" an actual observation or a question. Then publish yours. The people whose posts you just engaged with are now far more likely to see yours and respond. It's the same mechanic as any room full of professionals. The person who listens first tends to get heard. If you're building a Skool community and want to understand how to turn that into consistent monthly revenue, that's what we work on inside the Skool Monetisation Lab. https://www.skool.com/skool-growth-lab-2540/about Des Dreckett - Skool Monetisation Lab

Louder Youโ€™re also NOT posting for THIS feed. You are posting to be indexed & recommended virtuallyโ€ฆ out there in the outer webs. ๐Ÿ’—๐ŸŽค๐Ÿ’—

It actually is. Thatโ€™s an interesting plan too. Having a gamified community full of support should definitely help make those long days feel way shorter. I would only suggest to remove the [link] text off the bottom.

Ooohโ€ฆ and I put it through my Stranger on the Street clarity tool. 1. First Reaction Okay, I immediately get the angle. This is trying to make fasting feel less lonely and more motivating by using gaming language and group accountability. My first reaction was honestly: โ€œThis sounds kind of intenseโ€ฆ but also more interesting than most fasting stuff.โ€ It definitely stands out compared to generic health coaching copy. I can picture the vibe pretty quickly. โธป 2. What I Think This Is This feels like an online fasting accountability group for people who either like gaming culture or respond well to challenge/progression systems. I picture Discord energy. Check-ins. Group motivation. Maybe competitive streaks. People trying to lose weight or build discipline together instead of quietly failing on their own. It feels aimed more at men than women, mostly because of the โ€œboss raids,โ€ โ€œparty up,โ€ and โ€œfinal bossโ€ language. __________ 4. What Feels Unclear I still donโ€™t fully know what people are actually doing inside this. Like: - Are these live calls? - A Discord group? - Daily check-ins? - Competitive challenges? - Coaching? - Just community support? I understand the theme and vibe way more than the actual experience. โ€œIronclad disciplineโ€ and โ€œdream outcomeโ€ started sounding a little marketer-y compared to the more grounded opening. Also, Iโ€™m not totally sure whether this is meant for serious fasters, beginners, gamers specifically, or just anyone struggling with consistency. There was moreโ€ฆ โ˜บ๏ธ but this is enough.
Ling-Tail-Keywords (SEO's)
You've probably heard the term SEO, but here's the part that often gets glossed over: long-tail keywords. SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is simply how people find you online. Most of us get that part. But the magic is in going specific. Instead of chasing broad terms like "marketing" (competing with millions), long-tail keywords zero in on exactly who you're talking to โ€” and they convert far better because the person searching already knows what they want. Here's what that looks like in practice - marketing 101 for beginners over 55 Speaks directly to a life stage, builds instant trust - digital marketing basics for retirees Meets people where they are, not where you wish they were - how to learn marketing skills after retirement Answers a real question being typed into Google right - now. - marketing made simple for older beginners Removes the fear of "I don't know tech" before they even - click - online marketing 101 for career changers over 50 Targets a specific identity, career changers feel - seen The more specific your keyword, the smaller, but warmer, your audience. They're already looking. You just have to show up in the right words. Try writing 3โ€“5 long-tail keywords for your community. Think about who they are, what they're worried about, and what words they'd actually type. That's your content goldmine. Drop your niche below ๐Ÿ‘‡ happy to brainstorm long-tail ideas with you. #SEO #DigitalMarketing #MarketingTips #LongTailKeywords #OnlineMarketing #MarketingForBeginners #ContentStrategy #SmallBusinessMarketing #MarketingEducation #MarketingCommunity
