10 days after joining Skool, everything has changed for me
Before joining, my life felt confusing and stuck. Every day was the same routine office, then flat, eat food, and listen to my flatmateโ€™s fazool baatein Games khelo cards or so jao. Nothing productive, nothing new. But once I joined the Skool community, my life took a full 360-degree turn I started with just one video, and then another. After three days, I began watching videos seriously, taking notes, and even in the office, I started working while listening to Haroon Bhaiโ€™s MENTAL MASTERY videos. That was the moment my change began. In just 7 days, the same office and same friends remained but my laziness, time wasting, and useless hanging out ended.I started praying namaz regularly, and the mental mastery content helped me develop a very positive mindset. The way Haroon Bhai teaches calm, positive, and full of wisdom is incredible. Now even while working in the office, I listen to him daily. His lecture on *Types of Sadaqah* was truly eye-opening. So informative. It showed how even small actions can become a source of reward in dunya and deen. May Allah bless Haroon Bhai. He is doing amazing work, and I will always keep him in my prayers. Please make dua for me that I stay consistent, never skip anything, and continue learning. Breaking My Comfort Zone
Itโ€™s my first ever Loom video and my first time teaching someone. After a lot of overthinking, I finally stepped out of my comfort zone, Alhamdulillah, and recorded my imperfectly perfect video. When I listened to it, I kept thinking, โ€œI should re-record thisโ€ฆ I shouldnโ€™t have said thatโ€ฆ I mispronounced this wordโ€ฆ I didnโ€™t speak smoothlyโ€ฆโ€ But then my sister said, โ€œEman, donโ€™t overthink so much. Alhamdulillah, I'm almost done with my freelancing roadmap and have clearly defined my "why". Set my 6-12 month goal, plan to start implementation from December 8th, In Shaa Allah. Before starting, I want to discuss the roadmap, divide goals into quarters and months, and work systematically. ๐Ÿ“Œ One thing to remember: Recorded a short video to test myself - felt confident, good sign for community building. โฐ Sleep & Prayers: Prayed all prayers on time, Alhamdulillah ๐Ÿ’ญ How I Felt: Productive and focused. Progress on the roadmap and clarity on goals. Some confusion about e-commerce partnership vs. app development focus. โš ๏ธ Challenges: Decision Making: Colleague proposed an e-commerce partnership. Most work was done by him, but unsure if I should pursue it with my current app workload. ๐Ÿ† Small Wins: - Almost completed freelancing roadmap - Built strong "why" and clear 6-12 month goals - Recorded the first short video confidently - Maintained all prayers on time - Productive meeting about e-commerce opportunity ๐Ÿ“š What I Learned: - Mental health is crucial: Debbie Millman emphasizes psychotherapy for growth - Break big goals into quarters, months, and actionable steps - Recording videos builds confidence and supports community building ๐Ÿ“… Tomorrow Plan: - Refine freelancing roadmap - Discuss the roadmap with someone before implementation - Think deeply about e-commerce partnership - weigh pros/cons - Divide a 6-12 month goal into quarterly/monthly milestones - Maintain prayers - Record more practice videos - Work on the client's proposal - First thing is to change the ui and push the code - Complete the remaining freelancing video ๐Ÿคฒ Gratitude: Alhamdulillah for clarity on goals and "why".
