When it comes to Huawei as a Chinese electronics company today, I really think it does an outstanding job—especially with its phones. The cameras are first-rate. But there’s one particularly weak spot: the operating system. Huawei phones run the fully independent “Pure-Blood” HarmonyOS, and many apps simply aren’t compatible with it, whereas iOS and Android can basically run almost every app out there. Still, congratulations to Huawei! A completely independent mobile operating system is truly a huge milestone. I hope Huawei can quickly ramp up its ecosystem development. Compared with iphone Duo, removing the SIM card slot and ditching Face ID for payments? Wow, I think that’s way too much of a hassle. So, what’s your take? I’d like to hear your opinion too.
