Build Your Personal Mission Plan with me in 90 Minutes
🤯 I'm hosting a Free, live “build-it-with-you” workshop for military & veteran men and women who are tired of being exhausted, inflamed, and stuck in bodies that don’t match the mind of a warrior. Based on your requests, I've developed a workshop that will address the things that are on your mind. For 90 minutes, we’ll move through short briefings + 5-minute drills so you’re not just listening—you’re actually building your own playbook as we go. ➡️ Because vets don’t learn from 60 slides and corporate jargon. They learn by doing. By the end, you’ll have: - A written threat assessment of your health - A readiness protocol based on HRV - A mood & mental recovery plan - A protein & strength framework - An autoimmune / inflammation micro-plan …all tied together into your Mitochondrial Blueprint using my Mito-Method Framework. 100% FREE TO ATTEND BUT ONLY 50 SPOTS AVAIL - GRAB THEM FIRST 🎄Who This Workshop Is For🎄 This is perfect for you if: - You’re military, ex-military, first responder, or wired like one - You’re 35–60 and dealing with fatigue, weight gain, pain, mood swings, or autoimmune messiness - You feel like your body isn’t matching the standards you hold yourself to - You’re sick of guessing, Googling, and starting over every few months - You want a simple, realistic, written mission plan you can follow for the next 90 days This is not for you if: - You’re looking for a magic pill or quick fix - You refuse to write anything down or take action - You want someone else to carry your ruck DECEMBER 11th 1900h EST - Can't make it LIVE - Join the Replay - BUT YOU MUST SIGN UP

@Darren Baker can’t stop winning 🥇 2 weeks into the VALOR Program and he’s down 6 pounds. Wanna know the crazy thing? There’s no crazy gym sessions or hero fasting protocols, just knowledge and consistency. Great work Darren.

Updates
Focusing back in on my goals 26 June decided to lay off alcohol for a month. That's been fairly easy but I do miss an end day beer. Been focusing on more dog walks and 3- 4 workouts a week. 2 of them are with my Kinesiologist. VAC looks after those and honestly it has remotivated me. The mobility improvements as well as better techniques for lifting moving through exercises all great. I have also focused more on what i am stuffing in my face, so that has helped. "My danger, i need to eat time is after 9pm". But i have been very consistent with no food after 7pm (for the most part) if i have to eat it is high protein 100 calories or less. 29 June weigh in was 88.7 Kgs 12 July weigh in is 86.6 kgs So pretty happy with this and I don't feel like im suffering.
White Coat Syndrome
Hey folks. Just paid a visit to my doctor. Every time I do, the blood pressure is high. In disbelief, my doctor runs the blood pressure check again and again. The pressure gets better and better and then it gets to a number that makes the doctor less worried. So, off I went with a blood work form, (As requested by Dave Morrow) and the doc asked me ro keep a log of blood pressure for the next couple of weeks and report back to discuss the blood results and my log for blood pressure. The one thing that I found that was common in the CF is that most people were comfortable sharing medical results. Am I wrong? Just thought that I would post this up to see if anyone else gets the "White Coat Syndrom"? Being at the age of 53, I have realized that I need to advocate for my own health when interacting with the civilian medical system. The military made it easy for me and now, I am taking a better interest. The medical system across Canada is still hurting after COVID but particularly here in Newfoundland. It is difficult to find a family doctor. Thoughts?

I used to have white coat syndrome and I still may. One of the PA'S at my work made me lay down for a half an hour with the lights off in an exam room. I gave him the I've never done this before, what are you doing this for? He said this is the most accurate/ correct way to check BP. All this to say do yourselves a favor and check your BP when you are calm, rested and relaxed. Write a few comments down in your log. When you have high BP you have it All the time.
