Sorry that I missed this discussion. My BP was dangerously high when I began the Be.A.S.T program. I also had an appointment with a doctor and he suggested a change with my blood pressure medication. Not the dosage but the time of day that I was taking the medication. I am 53 years of age and headed straight into the program. I did all of the exercises, every day. The medication change happened after a week into the program. So, my body was used to having medication at night, before bed. The doctor changed it to the morning. So, there was a short period where my body was shocked (for lack of a better word) with a medication change and intense exercise. Diet change on top of all that and I guess my body was not happy. Two weeks later and I am losing weight, feeling much better and eager to get back into the program routine. However......I have to keep with very light exercise (walking) anlnd diet. This is after discussion with Dave and his team. My bloodwork results and the way forward with a doctor's followup appointment will be in a couple of weeks. Will brief everyone when I have something to pass on. For now.....I keep moving forward. I can still keep the ball rolling and stay the course. Hope this helps others know that they are not alone and that your efforts are worth it! You are worth it! 🙂 Keep moving troops!
