This great. Was this your initiative?

This is going to be an inaugural event folks. First time in Canada 🇨🇦 The American 🇺🇸 veterans here are probably tracking what this is - comment if you’ve experienced a silkie hike. To my Canadian veterans - you gotta experience this. We’re about to reshape how you experience veteran events. This is a moving party 🎉! We’re going to end veteran suicide through friendship, humour and community. Come one come all. Register early. https://irreverentwarriors.donordrive.com/montreal26

@Stephanie McEvoy no. Not because we don’t love and respect you either. This prevents “mission creep”

@Stephanie McEvoy yup.
Arms and legs and hands
I accidentally came across my basic measurements from this time last year. My neck is 3/4” bigger than it was this time last year. Women don’t often discuss this specific metric, so this was a surprise to me. A very happy and welcome surprise.

That’s a big improvement. The basic body fat percentage calculation uses neck, waist, hips. Any decrease is a big win

What's the one thing the VA got completely wrong about your health? Not looking for a polite answer. Tell us the diagnosis that didn't fit, the prescription that made things worse, the appointment where nobody asked the right question. Drop it below. Let's see how many of us got the same answer.

@Amanda Moddejonge I think this would melt American minds that a non profit had any influence on your benefits.

Well life has been intense, chaotic and hectic lately. Due to the heat here in Ottawa, I didn't get out to run with my black lab running mates. We are finally back at running. This morning was the second run we had and we are all hurting, sluggish but we made it. Due to presentations here and my own self-examination, I have decided with my doctor's oversight to move off of my SSRIs. When talking to pharmacist, she said "I don't think you can get off of them". Like what!??? Challenge accepted. This past week, I lowered my dose again. Sure love those fractals that are non-stop whenever I close my eyes! 🤣🤣 Fractal definition attached. Can't wait for the body zaps to start. If you know, you know. If anyone would like to talk about lowering or moving off of SSRIs, glad to share my experience. WARNING: I am NOT a healthcare professional nor a therapist. I am only offering peer-to-peer support.

wow. This is a big step. What your pharmacist said was wild. It's a very loaded response. Does anyone get briefed on how addictive these drugs are and their side effects by their doctor?

@Stephanie McEvoy that sucks but is pretty standard. They’re passing legislation in the U.S. to force doctors to describe the side effects of each drug. We should do the same
