@Brad Spelbring Great story of Perserverance. So many people quit when they hear no once or twice. Then they take unnecessary risks, like using a high interest loan and they make a lot more stress for themselves.

Post here and tell us about yourself and your business. It is okay if you are just in the idea stage. We have people on the platform who can mentor you. Ex: Hi, I'm __________, my business/idea is/does __________________. My outside interests are ___________. Here is mine: "Hi, my name is David, I'm retired Army. I've launched 8 businesses over the last 21 years in hospitality, logistics, residential/commercial real estate, and business consulting. I've got 4 kids and love anything outdoors like hiking or riding my dirt bike. My favorite sports are hockey and football. If you know anybody wanting to sell a self-storage facility, I'd love to speak to them." @Andrew Lewis Welcome. You should check out the other community here on Skool. Just go to the set of arrows next to the search bar and look up the drone academy in the picture attached.

@Russell Phippen I hope you find the platform and the entrepreneurs here useful. There have been success stories of people getting started here as they launched a business in construction. We also have people that came here with already successful businesses.

@Eric Serkosky Thanks boys @Jorge Torres-Guzman , I just added it to our trusted resource partner list.
Thank you Dave for adding me to this community!
My name is Joseph Corso, and I am the owner of Guardian 6 Consulting, a veteran-owned firm focused on school safety, security audits, emergency preparedness, and leadership development. I bring over 20 years of military service and nearly two decades of educational leadership to this work, and I’d welcome the opportunity to connect and explore how we might partner.
Thank you Dave for adding me to this community!

You have a great business model and are showing that you can start a business before you leave a W-2 (normal job). This shows how much of a benefit it is to use the skills and experience you already have to turn it into a business with uncapped upside.
Company Shirts
Hello @Justin Zelenak and everyone — I hope you’re all well. I’m looking for an easy, affordable way to put my business logo on shirts and make a few pieces in-house. I’m starting door-to-door outreach next week and want to look professional without overspending. Specifically, I’m looking for: A simple program (and compatible transfer materials) to make company T-shirts. Budget-friendly options for business cards, letterhead, and envelopes with templates. Recommendations for shirts/polos/hats (software + transfer paper/printer settings). Thank you....JT Torres!

I made the mistake once of buying too many shirts for the purpose of branding but tied up too much cash that could have been used for other things. Marketing materials are great but you don't need to go crazy. Having a marketing strategy is more important than just randomly making material. You need to be able to test it first to see what works before you commit to a large print order.
