What is the usual culprit in a situation like this?
So here's the situation: Niche is pre-launch ECOM founders. 1) I sent the First IOI email (T1) to a warm email list of $7 masterclass buyers. 2) List size is 20K. 3) Subject line of the email was a straightforward symptom call-out: "read this if you still haven't launched your brand" 4) 5K people opened that email (GOLD IOIs) - that's 25% open rate. All rock n roll until here... But here's where things get a little rough... 5) Out of the 5K that opened...only 25 replied, and almost none from the 25 kept the conversation going after the first reply. :( 6) Surprisingly when I shifted the medium from Email --> WhatsApp almost everyone kept the conversation going. There are two problems over here: ONE: Very low open ---> reply rate TWO: very low reply ---> conversation rate Has anyone had this challenge before & fixed it? Would love to hear about it. :)))))

An addition to @Honey Syed 's response👇 Rather than asking, "What's the usual culprit?", I'd start by asking... "What did those 25 replies reveal?" Because that's where the gold is 💰 Did they mention the same obstacle? Or did they misunderstand the question? And at what exact message did the conversation die? (Specifics really DO matter) The issue may not be a single culprit, but a combination of the audience, where they were in their journey, what happened after they replied, and even the difference between email and WhatsApp. So... I'd be asking: At what point did I STOP moving with the prospect's existing momentum? (Think Aikido) Remember, @Sibi Gnaneshwaran You're NOT talking to ECOM founders... You're "listening" to individuals with unique problems.

Bad luck @Steven Yen You did good
I am SUPER EXCITED and SOooPER SCARED
This is the first time I've ever decided to bid in an auction, and just typing this is giving me goosebumps. 😅 Anxiously waiting for it to start. Sorry, @Travis Sago ... but I'm shamelessly hoping the bidding stays low so I have a chance. 😂 To my fellow bidders: please remember there's someone from a third-world country in the mix. One dollar here is worth about 300 bucks. Have mercy. 🙏

8 Things I've learnt from running 8 auctions.
I've done 8 auctions now, with a mixture of big names, smaller names, big results and terrible ones here's what I have learnt... 1 - We are the chooser! I made the error a couple of times here by thinking 'Yeh, but Ryan they have a HUGE list...' Even though I knew they were a nightmare to deal with, they kept wanting the copy changed they focused on the hammer... but I told myself even though all that I would make enough money to make it worth it... Guess what? I didn't. So now if I wanna work with you then you are getting tested at every point and I can pull the plug at any point. I wont mention names but 2 of the people I worked with would have easily hit 6 figs had they not got too involved. One even agreed after... 2 - Get everything you need before the auction. Wowza didn't think this would be an issue but getting payment links etc... get everything you need before so you aren't faffing around trying to get links to close people. 3 - You really don't need to be that good. Good offer KILLS everything. I worked with a dude, small audience, but a killer offer, in a niche where people have money, he got everything to me, was easy to deal with and we CRUSHED it, like $20K in 24 hours EASILY. It didn't even feel like work. I am not that great a tapper. I make mistakes but with an auction most people are wanting in ASAP. You give them the 3 tiers and they are busting a gut to get in... 4 - Do as many test posts as you can... It's really easy to get a test post out there and even easier for them to see if they will get an engagement. It ticks the box for the person that they will get people bidding... but for you it tests them, you send a google doc and they don't bother clicking it... good you are out. If they won't do that they will 100% mess around with sending emails to their list etc... and thats before you ask for money... I had one person say 'I cannot be doing with the 2 mins voice note you sent me.' Ok well if you cannot listen to 2 mins of me explaining the posts, the emails etc... then bye bye bye.
8 Things I've learnt from running 8 auctions.
