Gemini responses vs chatgpt
Dear all, I wanted to ask for your experiences and feedback on gemini. I really try to make a good use of it and it comes with lots of unique perks, including but not limited to notebooklm and best in class audio visual tools. It would make sense to get pro subscription and make it the go to tool, but I am really not in love with about half of its responses even in pro mode (flash = awful), and I tried to customise it similar to what I did to chatgpt in line with your trainings. It feels like it likes to give quite shallow responses even in pro mode or tries to overcomplicate it so much that even my PhD trained brain can't fully grasp. Worst of all - it feels compelled to use every little detail or note that was clearly introduced for context only and responses can be quite comical. All in all I tend to find chatgpt free (customised) responses somewhat more on topic with far less frustration. What do you think? Is it much better in paid sub, or am I missing some key custom instruction or just one to avoid?
Hello
I'm Daugirdas, a photographer and creative from UK. I get a sense that there is a fairly limited lease of life to what I currently do due to AI, so I would like to get into a position where I can consistently build, sell and implement AI-based solutions. Currently, I use various general AI tools like chatgpt, grok, gemini and adobe firely models to mostly save a bit of time with client comms, ideation, proofreading. I had a little go at coding with vsstudio: that was mostly to clean up already existing code. I'd like it to take it to a next level, possibly go into python, whatever it takes really.
🌈 Where Are You on the AI Confidence Spectrum? (And Why It Matters)
Most people think AI confidence is binary: either you're confident or you're not. Reality? It's a spectrum—and understanding where you are changes everything. The AI Confidence Spectrum: Level 1: AI Curious" I'm interested but haven't really tried anything yet. I watch others use it but feel intimidated to start." Level 2: AI Dabbler" I've used ChatGPT a few times for simple things. Sometimes it helps, sometimes I'm not sure what to ask." Level 3: AI Experimenter" I try different AI tools and prompts regularly. Some experiments fail, but I'm learning what works." Level 4: AI Integrator" AI is part of my regular workflow for specific tasks. I know what it's good for and when to use it." Level 5: AI Strategist" I've built systems around AI. I know exactly which tasks to delegate to AI and which to keep for myself." Here's why this matters: If you're at Level 2 trying to implement Level 5 strategies, you'll fail and feel like AI "doesn't work." If you're at Level 4 consuming Level 2 content, you'll get frustrated that nothing feels new. The key: Focus on moving one level up, not five. Level 1 → 2: Try ONE simple task with ChatGPT this week Level 2 → 3: Experiment with 3 different prompts for the same task Level 3 → 4: Pick your best experiment and use it consistently Level 4 → 5: Document your process and create a system What we've noticed: People at every level feel behind. Level 2s see Level 5s and feel inadequate. But Level 5s started at Level 1 too—they just took it one step at a time. Your honest assessment: Where are you on the spectrum right now? And more importantly: What's ONE thing you could do this week to move to the next level? Drop your level and your next step below! No judgment here—just honest progress. šŸŽÆ
