Tiny Step🪴 Jan 16, 2026
Hello to our amazing women 💛 If you’re new here, each Friday we share one simple Tiny Step, something gentle, doable, and realistic, even on full days. These are small actions meant to create a little more peace and clarity right where you are. This week’s Tiny Step is a grounding practice designed to bring a sense of calm into your body in under a minute. It’s called 5-Sense Grounding. Whenever you remember today or this weekend, pause for a moment and gently name: 1 thing you can see 1 thing you can hear 1 thing you can feel 1 thing you can smell Then take 1 slow, intentional breath That’s it. Just coming back into the moment. I hope this brings you a small pocket of peace wherever you are today. 😊

I see the sunrise through my window. I hear my sleeping dog breath. I smell the coffee beans as I grind them. I feel the cold as I step outside. I breath in the new day with a smile.
Our favorite way to unplug lately
Hello our amazing women 🤍 I wanted to share something my husband and I have been really into lately. We’re always looking for simple, easy things we can do together to unplug in our downtime. Last year, we came across a man in a park painting with a tiny portable paint set, and we fell in love. This week, we’ve been taking little strolls to the old church in our village and painting the beautiful architecture we see along the way. It’s become a nice ritual. We ordered our supplies on Amazon. We did end up getting each part of the kit separately, but I’m sure you can find similar sets if you feel inspired to look them up too. @Celeste Elash That is so cool. I did that “ Pen always on paper exercise.” It was a mess lol. I think it was thinking on the left side of the brain. Made me wonder if I even had a brain.

Reading is my number one hobby and has been for right on 60 years. I’ve read every day for as long as I can remember. I’m also into urban sketching and the great outdoors. I want to learn Spanish and foraging. Looking for great ideas from others.
