Finding Your Work-Life Balance
Happy Tuesday, Wellness MBA community! Today let's discuss an important topic - maintaining a healthy work-life balance. In our busy lives, it can be challenging to create boundaries between our professional and personal responsibilities. However, establishing balance is crucial for our overall wellbeing. When we're constantly stressed or overwhelmed, it becomes harder to show up as our best selves at work and at home. So, what are some strategies we can implement to better prioritise self-care and achieve more equilibrium? Here are a few suggestions: Set Boundaries - Establish clear start and end times for your workday, and protect that personal time - Learn to say "no" politely to requests that don't align with your priorities - Minimise distractions and notifications during non-work hours Optimise Your Time - Experiment with time blocking or the Pomodoro technique to boost productivity - Identify your peak energy times and schedule your most important tasks accordingly - Delegate or outsource tasks when possible to free up bandwidth Nurture Your Wellbeing - Make time for regular exercise, healthy meals, and adequate sleep - Build in small breaks throughout the day to reset and recharge - Cultivate hobbies and social connections outside of work Remember, work-life balance looks different for everyone. The key is being intentional about your needs and boundaries. Start small and see what strategies resonate most for you. I'd love to hear your tips and experiences in the comments below. How do you maintain a healthy balance in your life? Here's to finding more harmony and fulfillment in all areas of our lives! Stay Positive & Thrive!

1. I programmed my phone to go to sleep mode (it goes dim) for 7 hours upon bedtime and it reminds me " time for bed"....it works for the most part as long as I dont hit the snooze😉 2. Write lists ( more like sticky notes everywhere🤣), cross off items as completed, if I don't get to it, it move next day etc.. 3. Exercise is must! If nothing else, I'll try to walk at least 30 min day /150 min week... I find "idle" time to this too i.e. during zoom meetings (I sit waaayyy to much during these!), talking with friends, watching a show/looking at social media😉 4. Hobbies, Yes! I loooove to craft! Try to connect with other crafters and learn from each other...or just craft, its relaxing... 5. Staying connected with social circles is key too... phone, virtually or in-person....
